Anyone who has joined the companions knows that there is a large room that serves as a permanent resting area for the player. There is a large dresser that says "empty" on it. Would it be smart to store my many dragon bones and scales there? I don't know I've already heard stories of people stealing items you store, but these dragon items are killing my inventory space.

or should i just buy a house in whiterun or wherever i decide is a good fit and wait?
