I just got the Francesco's Level mod (about the sixth/seventh time I've had to restart the game this week) and in the readme I realised that sneak attack bonuses for bows have been severely nerfed (in my opinion), where master gets only a 3.5x multiplier.
I looked on TESNexus for some mods but could only find Stealth Overhaul, which I've tried before and conflicts with some of my mods.
So I ask, is there any mod I am unaware of, or, is there some way to manually change this sneak attack multiplier for the different ranks (ex. novice, apprentice, journeyman, etc.)?
Thanks is advance.

Actually, I think you're thinking of Level 25 MasterOfOblivion.
Though the OP said that he/she's using a mod which changes all that anyway (Francesco's Level mod), so I'm not sure why I needed to say that
.
An Apprentice gains a 6x damage bonus for one-handed weapon and hand-to-hand attacks, and a 3x damage bonus for marksman attacks, when undetected.

I don't think that's something you can change using the console. Console is more for changing the PC or things directly affecting him/her. It isn't for altering game mechanics.
I don't know off-hand of a good mod for changing sneak attack bonuses, but I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to search up on TESnexus.

Actually you can alter those settings by using the in-game console by using
where n is the name for the setting and value is the value you want to change it to.
Marksman sneak damage settings:
fPerkSneakAttackMarksmanApprenticeMult
fPerkSneakAttackMarksmanExpertMult
fPerkSneakAttackMarksmanJourneymanMult
fPerkSneakAttackMarksmanMasterMult
fPerkSneakAttackMarksmanNoviceMult
Unfortunately, the settings will be reset when you close Oblivion so it is best to permanently change them in the CS. You can do this by opening the CS, download it here if you don't have it. Click "Gameplay" and then click "Settings". Scroll down to the required setting and change the 'Numeric Value'. Then save the esp (file -> save) and load the mod.
Code: Select all
setgs n valueMarksman sneak damage settings:
fPerkSneakAttackMarksmanApprenticeMult
fPerkSneakAttackMarksmanExpertMult
fPerkSneakAttackMarksmanJourneymanMult
fPerkSneakAttackMarksmanMasterMult
fPerkSneakAttackMarksmanNoviceMult

You'll also want to make sure it loads after Francesco's.mxk101 wrote:Unfortunately, the settings will be reset when you close Oblivion so it is best to permanently change them in the CS.
