Two of them where awake. Unable to sleep, they turned on their radio with the sound low. They ended up on a radio news show. The group was on a normal camping trip, but what they did not realize, is that the actions of one of them would change their lives for years to come
One of the seven children that had gone missing, a 10-year-old named Genna Newkirk, was recovered. The twist was, she was not sane.
The girl was afraid of everything that moved, she cried frequently, and was constantly talking about a tall entity that came strait from the deepest pit of hell.
Outside of the tent, the two heard a rough scratching noise, another woke.
The one who woke up asked "what was that?" One of the others shrugged, he went outside with his friend. They searched around the camp.
Nothing out of the ordinary was found, until one of them called out "Look over here." Carved in the tree near him was the symbol of a circle with an "X" in it.
"Strange" The second one said. "Let's wait until morning and notify the owner of the camp" They both head back to the tent, until they heard the same scratching noise coming from the distant woods
They look to where it was coming from. Nothing was seen. They both turned back the other way, and standing before them, was the abomination that Genna Newkirk described.
It was dressed in a formal suit, stood about 10 feet tall, and did not bare a face.
The creature outstretched it's 6-foot arms and they morphed into tendrils. One of the two screamed, the second, mesmerized. The second child was snatched my the creature, and taken into the woods.
Two people came out of the tent, getting a glimpse of the terrifying creature as it was kidnapping the boy.
