I have downloaded this mod. I did everything as it says in the readme. But I still can't find the pet shop in Cheydinhal.
Then, I downloaded this one and did everything as it says in the readme. And can't find it too. It isn't even written where the pet shop is, in this mod.
And it is written that I must download obse to load the mod. I downloaded it but I couldn't find out what it does. It just loads the game?

Re: Pet Mods Problem.
Just going through the basics:
1. The mod esp files should be in your Oblivion\Data folder
2. You should activate them by starting Oblivion, choosing Data files, and clicking on those esp files, thus activating them
3. After that, exit from Oblivion and start the game with the OBSE --- not Oblivion shortcut.
I write this, because I've made all possible simple mistakes along the road.
OBSE stands for Oblivion Script Extender. I'm not an expert, I mainly know it's needed for many mods. I'm sure someone with expertise comes and gives you answers.
Best of luck.

Did everything you said again. Reinstalled the mod(for now im trying the "cheydinhal petshop" first) Still, when I go to Cheydinhal and look for the pet shop, I can't see it. I check every building from the game and from the map, but still I can't find it in the town! Where is it?

Re: Pet Mods Problem.
Perhaps it's an issue with load order. Mods like open cities may over-ride the cell the shop is placed in.
Try using B.O.S.S. (Better Oblivion Sorting Software) to organise your load order appropriately.
Alternately you could use OBMM to shuffle the mods lower in the load order and test the results.

'Tis simple. The text array on left on the screen displays all your mods. Much like the Data Files window in the default Oblivion start-up method. You can click on a mod an move it up or down with the buttons "Move Up" or "Move Down" respectively.Sanora wrote:I have oblivion mod manager. Just dont know what it does and how to use.
The general convention when ordering mods is to have script heavy mods up top and content heavy mods in the middle and content light mods on bottom. Well that at least how I ordered it before I used BOSS. Which I recommend you use imo.

Re: Pet Mods Problem.
I found it: it's outside the western gate of Cheydinhal, and take the short strip of road you can see on the map, towards south.
Quote ReadMe:
"v1.4
* Petshop is now located outside Cheydinhal now, just south along the road"
==============
IN CASE you're upgrading from an earlier version, it may be you need to:
1. Deactivate the esp
2. Start the game
3. Save
4. Exit the game
5. Activate the esp
6. Start the game
7. Save --- now you will have a new save with the update
Nice games!

Re: Pet Mods Problem.
Ah. The mod works perfect. But how can I reach to my pet's menu? To see it's levels, skills, etc.?
