Its frustrating because I'm a rogue and I'm trying to build up my spell ablitity, which is impossible with 14 mana points!

Yet another problem - I'm a half wit
Alright chaps, i seem to have a problem with my character, I think some Spellswords have cast a spell on me to lower my intelligence, I was wearing a Mark of Wisdom at the time that increased my intelligence, so it roughly stayed around 60 as they cancelled each other out. However, its been ages since I was cast against yet my intelligence has not normally returned to its typical level of 60. So unless I wear my mark I'm stuck with an intelligence of a 'half-wit'! Is this a bug or will it eventually wear off after months and months!
Its frustrating because I'm a rogue and I'm trying to build up my spell ablitity, which is impossible with 14 mana points!

I'm not sure that's actually your problem.
I heard that if you keep an item that boosts a stat on for too long, you become dependent on the item. In otherwords your stat drops to the point where you have to have the item to be at the same value that you used to be without the item.
I've never actually had this happen, but try either making a spell to restore that stat (without the mask on), or possibly try going to a temple and getting ?cured?
If neither of these work you might hafta load or learn to live with it.
Good luck.

Cheers, I can't remember what happened with that to be honest, I stopped playing a while ago - I was frustrated cos the character I'd picked and started playing with (I've stopped and started even longer ago!) was a lvl.16 thief. Thing is I can't stand having to find my way back out of dungeons once I'm in them! So it wound me up not having the requisite spells skills!
Cheers for the reply!
