Geography and races
Alexenaria is a fantasy world and slightly based on Morrowind. It is divided into two major areas: the Allied Kingdom and the Mist Kingdom. The evil Snow Elves and Dark Elves have united themselves under the Mist Kingdom and are settled east of the Burning Cliffs, a wide range of mountains with peaks stretching almost to the top of the sky and fully covered with snow. Lots of Snow Elves reside here, ready to ambush incoming troops from the Allied Kingdom.
There are passageways north and south of the mountains, in the south there's the river Eldoin and to the north the dangerous Ysoc swamps. The leader of the Mist Kingdom is the satanic tyrant Syriath, an infamous Dark Elf. His greatest enemy is King Dorian Vant, who has united the Humans and High Elves and formed the Allied Kingdom. The fifth and final race are the Sondistan who live in caves carved out of the mountains. They have telepathic powers but they are few in numbers.
History
The history of Alexenaria is, of course, not easy to catch in a few words. Here's a brief summary:
First Age
0 : The Humans arrive at Alexenaria. It is said that they were created by the Artnam God. They establish the cities of Heartelfall, Nevar and D'rol Krad.
1-200 : The Human Age. The Humans occupy all of Alexenaria and quickly learn how to use all the resources this land has to offer. The Neverending War, The War of a Thousand Victims and The Everlasting Peace all took place in these years.
201: In the first Battle of Alexenaria, the Humans were divided into two great nations: the Mountainfolk and the Knights of the Mill. The Knights of the Mill were known for their great running speed and no one could outmatch them. It is said that they had very muscular legs and could outrun a horse. But on the steep hills in the mountains they fell prey to the archery skills of the Mountainfolk so they never managed to retake their settlements in the mountains.
234 : The Humans are once again united by King Feith. They discover gold in the rivers and mountains and grow richer and richer. This is the end of the first Age.
Second Age
0 : The Elves arrive at Alexenaria and bring Magic with them. They corrupt the hearts of Men and quickly earn their place in Alexenaria. The High Elves move to the hills while the Snow Elves reside in the mountains and the Dark Elves prefer the northeast lands and the swamplands.
1-57 : For 56 years the Elves and Humans live together in peace. But it won't take long until the Dark Elves and Snow Elves grow jealous of each other's wealth and power.
58-92 : The War in the East. The Snow Elves and Dark Elves are at war. A Dark Elf assault on the N'ghisson fortress in the mountains results in thousands of casualties and the death of their General, Ghasta J'Ondor. The Snow Elves manage to capture some settlements in the swamps but they're not used to the climate. In the year 92 temperature has risen to extreme levels and the Dark Elves retake their cities. The Snow Elves surrender and retreat to the mountains, finally resulting in peace.
124 : This is where our story begins. The Dark Elves and Snow Elves have acknowledged that they share the same goal: they want full control over Alexenaria. They unite under the banner of the Mist Kingdom and their leader: Syriath. They're preparing an assault on the Western lands.
* It is unknown when the Sondistan arrived at Alexenaria. According to popular believe, they were once Humans who became master in the school of Mysticism. Other races cannot use this spell school though.
2E 124, the current situation
Syriath is in the possession of the ancient Staff of Elements, which has the power to control nearly all properties of nature. The entire land of Alexenaria has been engulfed in the most horrid, deathly winter in history, and the amount of daylight decreases by day. Only two races stand in the Kingdom's way - the Humans, and the High Elves. Their united capital of Heartelfall is one of the very few major cities of which hasn't been conquered by the terrible evil that threatens the land. The city then rests its hope in a group of adventurers who are requested by the king of united Men and High Elves.
Our mission
Primary goal: to destroy the Mist Kingdom and all that they stand for.
The party of adventurers has to earn the trust of the Sondistan and ask them for aid. While the king is leading his army east, the adventurers must infiltrate the Mist Kingdom, eliminate Syriath and take care of any problems the king's army might face.

Combat
Combat happens in turns. It's actually quite simple
Turn 1: Adventurer A
Turn 2: Enemy A
Turn 3: Adventurer B
etc.
There's no specific order, the first person who posts after we announce a battle, is Adventurer A. The second person has to wait until we post turn 2 (Enemy A).
Spell Damage = Willpower + (5*X1)
X1 = roll the dice once
If the enemy has a weakness to Fire, you deal 50% more damage. If he has a resistance to fire, that's 50% less damage.
Same for shields, so if you cast a Fire Shield and the enemy attacks you with a fire spell, he deals 50% less damage.
All the shield spells apply to your entire party but you can only have one shield spell active at a time.
There are four types of attacks: normal (damage health), fire, shock and frost. "Shield" protects you against normal damage

-----<yourname>-----
HP:(min/max)│MP:(min/max)│Gold:(value)│Spells:(numbers)│WP:(value)
----------------------
For example:
-----Josjie---------------------------------------------------
HP:80/100│MP:20/37│Gold:1020│Spells:1,2,5│WP:63
---------------------------------------------------------------
Josjie has 80 Health, 20 Magicka and 1020 Gold. He also has 63 Willpower and the following spells: Fire Damage, Shock Damage, Shield.
What you can do in a turn:
You can use a melee attack and cast one spell. That's it
Restore Health restores the health of one person. It uses this formula:
Amount of health restored = (WP * X1) / 2
Melee attacks
Melee attacks use this formula:
Melee damage = X1 * 4
Note: we call them melee attacks but you can also pick a bow for role-playing reasons
Magicka cost
The last battle formula
Magicka cost = X1 + X2
Battle example
Here's an example of a simple battle.
Starring Adventurer A and B and the Administrator (the admins of this RP).
Administrator: You are under attack by a Dark Elf (100HP, Weakness to Frost)!
Adventurer A: Melee attack for 12 damage (X1=3). Frost Damage spell for 55 damage (Willpower = 50, X1 = 1). Weakness to Frost so that's 55x1.5=82.5 damage = 83 damage. Magicka cost: 10 (X1=4, X2=6).
Administrator: Dark Elf has 5 HP left. Melee attack for 24 damage (X1=6) on Adventurer A. Fire Damage spell for 40 damage on Adventurer B.
Adventurer A has 76 health left and Adventurer B 60 health. Adventurer A has 20 Magicka left. Please update your character sheets
Adventurer B: Melee attack for 20 damage (X1=5). No more attacks needed
Administrator: Dark Elf is dead. Congratulations! Health and Magicka are now restored back to normal.
End of the battle. If the Dark Elf would still be alive, it would now be Adventurer A's turn.
Buying spells
You can buy spells in any city.
Non-combat spells
You'll need these spells while exploring (it's always a surprise!
We'll give you an idea of what you're about to face though (for example, when we tell you to visit a place with a lot of water, there's a good chance that you need a Water Walking/Breathing spell).
Spell cost = X1 * 500
You can give money to other players if you want, but make sure to update your character sheets
Our story starts...
We'll start once we have enough participants. You can already read the introduction though:
The party of adventurers was summoned to the royal palace in Heartelfall. You've been gathered by King Dorian Vant for an important mission: destroy the Mist Kingdom and all that they stand for. He has just finished his speech (thank the Artnam God!) and you're descending the stairs and on your way to the market district. It might be a good idea to buy some supplies (read: spells) before you head out into the wilds. Once you're done, take the East Gate and follow the Endless Road to some mysterious ruins. You'll find enemies, forests and caves on your way, so be prepared! It might also be a good idea to ask for information on the market, you'll definitely need a map if you ever want to reach the ruins alive.
