Main quest Question?

What level is should I be at before starting and going through the main quest because I still got to increase my intelligence to have enough spell points to cast spell reflection and absorption.The two quests in the main quests I have done so far is privateer's hold and Lady Brisienna .The help would be greatly appreciated.

Can somebody please help,because my charchter is level 10 and in the guild quests I am taking I am running into vampire ancients and I am by no means ready to take them on and they kill me in seconds.I am following boiler plates build.

I don't really know because I played this game as a Warrior-class. But if you're having trouble with Vampire Ancients, don't worry, because I did too. I simply ran past them, ignored them. There's no part of the game where you HAVE to kill one. I didn't level up just to be able to complete the main quest, but I did do some Fighters Guild quests in between. Gain ten more levels, but you shouldn't need more than that, I don't think I was more than level 30 when I completed the game.

Thanks for the help that will gives me a goal to shot for and by the time I reach level twenty I should have high enough magic to cast spells to deal with his magic so I can kill him with my deadric longsword or by then I hope I have a deadric dai-katana If I can even carry that much gold.

For vampire ancient use a shock resistance spell/potion. They become less hard. Im level 9 and im near to finish the game.
