Well I'm a Dad now
The wife gave birth to our twin daughters on March 1, 2010. Took me a bit to make this post here for me to take the pictures off of the digital. Unfortunately I'm not sure how to upload a photograph here....
Re: Well I'm a Dad now
Congrats! Trust me, it's gonna be a helluva ride!

Congratulations! Not something that happens every day!
By the way, if you want to upload photos, just post them to photobucket or something and post a link.
Congrats again!

Word of advice... don't blink. Before you know it they will be curvy and grown. You might have to take on two teenage suitors at the same time.

Congratulations.
Just don't let them get near the dvd player, I got my hand stuck in the VCR as a toddler.

I read Caractacus as Cactus, and my first thought was "Bloody hell, he moves quick, doesn't he?"

Re: Well I'm a Dad now
Congratulations! As I recall, the first 18 months of my life just flew past. Don't even remember them. You'll be out of the woods before you know it.

Re: Well I'm a Dad now
haha.. yeh, I noticed it's very similar to cactaceae (the "family" classification of cacti) which is another name I use from time to time (meaning once, on the PS3). Translation - your name is made of win, sir.r wrote:I read Caractacus as Cactus, and my first thought was "Bloody hell, he moves quick, doesn't he?"
Anyway, on topic, congrats sir.

Re: Well I'm a Dad now
Thank you all for the warm congrats. Yes, I know, before I know it, they'll be 25 and with their own kids. Right now I'm enjoying the easiness but dreading when they turn 2. I will upload some pics to a photobucket account (have to create one).
The name Caractacus is the Latin spelling of "Caradoc", a Briton chieftain than gave the Romans hell, was captured, brought back to Rome, gave a rousing speech, and was granted citizenship. It is also the name of a Fort in oblivion, the one with Ancotar and the Aleswell quest.

Watch out, too. My son is only three months old, so I don't know about him yet, but my now two year old daughter got ahold of my wallet when she was a year old, took out the VISA, dropped the wallet and wouldn't let go of the credit card for the life of her. It's a bad sign.
She's also already given me the 12-18 year old look that says "Dad, you are the stupidest thing on the face of this planet"... despite that I tell her it loses meaning coming from someone who still poops into a diaper.

A bit of a late reply but I was in shock because I thought you were Cactus. He just got married and now he's taking the next big step... well that's what I thought
.
Anyway, nice username, congrats again and have fun!

That's not too bad. If he really was an evil genius he would have taken cash - you know, hide the paper trail.
