The problem of Morrowind isn't becoming powerful...I can list a whole batch of 'tips' for how to jink your way to hige piles of gold, skills and attributes at 100 base and then boosted by enchantments, etc...

To me, the problem is the reverse of that...what is a good system for regularly using the console to adjust skills and attributes down so that the game remains challenging? I know I could just 'adjust as I see fit', but I'd rather follow some objective guideline...any suggestions?

Been doing that, and getting started is a challenge, but still can't seem to strike a good balance of skills/levels/attributes going up. One thing that has helped maintain good balance at the lower levels is an internal limiter on dark brotherhood armor...I just decree that wearing or selling the stuff should get me into trouble so I leave it behind.
