Zooming

Post by Masser »

Is there any way to zoom in and out of the main map? I have numerous landmass mods running, and I'd like to be able to see the actual layout of them.

There's the world map, and there's the local map... there are map mods with higher resolutions and that even support large new landmasses on the WM fully integrated, but I have no idea if there's any way to actually zoom in the map... I guess even if there is, that would require MWSE hence originally maps are static images, so kinda hard to "zoom" them in and out without changing scripts ingame...

Not 100% sure tho

I'm running TR, and it's kinda annoying having zero idea where I am in relation to anything else. What was that map mod you were talking about?

Just get Mw Code Patch, and check the tick that referes to the inclusion of TR in the world map...

Let me see if i can find the FAQ for it...

Code: Select all

And I quote:
Summary of fixes:

- Savegame corruption fix. Fixes the mod matching system, to avoid many sources of game corruption. The mod loader can now identify inserted and deleted mods properly, by matching their filenames. You can now change your load order without problems. Adding mods to your savegame will now cause much less issues.
- Map expansion. Increases the area shown on the map to cover all of Tamriel Rebuilt. Optional. Now with zoom.
...
So appears lastest version even HAS zoom (I just found myself, gotta update :D)
Thanks, wouldn't have find out if I wasn't looking and wouldn't go look if it wasn't for YOU :D

Thanks Zmery. MWSE is integrated into MWE too, right? A little random, but I'm not sure.
