I played SimCity 2000 a LOT when I was younger. It's what introduced me to the entire Maxis Sims series.. and therefore it shall always have a special place in my heart. *tear*
To be honest, I couldn't get into the other games. SimCity was.. *yawn* and the others were.. I dunno. They were advanced and all, but they lacked the heart of SimCity 2000. I could be bias...

i used to play the original back in 1989. made some pretty big cities. i loved making lots of parks near rivers and ponds with beachside apartments overlooking them.

did they still have godzilla in simcity 2000?
