Favorite Weapon?
What's your favorite weapon? If its one that you self enchanted and gave it a custom name, please tell us the enchantment, and name. Also, please tell us where you got it. To start it off, my favorite would Hatred's Soul(bow), since the enchantment on it is everything a person using a bow would love to have and the arrows that come with the bow have a soultrap effect which is very conveinient. You get this bow in random oblivion world2. You can have a 100% chance of getting this portal world on the chorrol oblivion gate during the main quest where you have to get the reinforcements for the big gate opening.

Hm my fave would have to be a Dai-Katana enchanted with fire/frost/shock duration enchantments, as much damage and length is can fit with a soul trap 1 sec on the end ^^ (well the start)
I usualy name it something elemental like, or trio strike or something.
Ps, the hatred's soul doesn't have a soul trap on it

Can you put light into a weapon? I've never seen it before. I've seen it in gloves, but not weapons.
If so, my preferred weapon would be a claymore enchanted with Light 20 pts (just like the gloves I found that illuminate the area around me its pretty sweet) and Turn Undead 40 pts, Fire Damage 10-30 pts (for the vamps), and Shock Damage 10-30 pts for the coolness factor.
I know thats all out of the question, but thats what I use when I play Oblivion in my dreams. Its called the Sword of Pwnage. It goes with my class, as my custom class is always called "Pwnzorz". Its a really sweet class.

Rofl that would be cool too. Thats what I'm putting in my enchantment then. Lmao.Dragour wrote:All weapon enchantments are effective on strike/attack, so having light on your weapon won't make you or the weapon bright, hitting a foe will make them bright with the enchantment5tealthh wrote:Can you put light into a weapon? Hm well if you have a demoralize/turn undead then the enemy who is now bright with light will go running, shining light all over the cave without anyone noticing you hiding in the shadows behind them XD5tealthh wrote:Rofl that would be cool too. My personal favorite is the poisoned apple. I like to stock up and go wipe out some guards periodically. Like right now! sitting there in an outpost in the imperial city and they're like "are you not feeling well?" *three drop dead from their meals*
but as for more practical weaponry, I'd prolly choose a bow. Then again right now I'm liking the way my character looks when trying to sneak kill someone barehanded. Judo Chop!
edit: would giving an essential character an apple mess things up?

yeah, umbra is my favourite.
The 120 second enchantment is real quality but you don't have to rely on its enchantment for damage; it looks like a sword should look and it hits hard. You can also find umbra from day 1 outside the sewers so it's very rare in the levelled land of cyrodiil in that it's a piece of (alsmost) starting equipment that will never become obsolete
shadowrend is the best looking 2-handed sword and you really have to earn that, but i'll stick with umbra
favourite staff is Sheogoraths 'stop' staff.

I also like katanas with shock enchantments. oh yea if you put an area effect shock enchantment on a dai-katana when you hit someone sparks and mist flash around you it looks like your Sephiroth in 3rd person view lol

Most definitely. Umbra is the best one handed weapon in the game... for people who don't like recharging their crap.Darkheart wrote:Umbra, all the way.
When I'm in a dungeon and my crap runs out of charge, I cry on the inside. Now that I use Umbra all the time I laugh because I get 26 points of damage regardless of charge!

Seriously though, I used Goldbrand until it ran out of juice, then it sucked.
