Hi Everyone,
I have a question about efficient leveling. Basically, how important is it to make sure I get +5 for 3 attributes?
I normally try and make sure that I have skilled up enough subskills before leveling, but don't always hit +5s across the board. Usually, I settle for one +5, and 1-2 +3 or +4 to skills (I aim for 12 points or more at level up).
Will this leave me underpowered in the later game, or am I ok to do this, and will just not have a 'god' character, but still be able to kick a respectable amount of butt?

Sweet! That's the answer I was hoping for. I've created my char so that I can control his leveling pretty easily, but EL I find so boring. Summoning skeletons to beat to death with my fists (for a +5 score to str) gets old quickly.Sanguine wrote:EL is boring, I due it once in a blue moon and my level 30 pure mage can take out most of New Sheoth with nothing but a sword.
Out of curiosity, how many points do you usually get at level-up?

2-4(leaning mostly toward 3) usually I will occasionally get a plus five even if I'm not ELingpotatomanjack wrote:Sweet! That's the answer I was hoping for. I've played through the game several times now and only did the EL thing through a couple of levels. I found that it was far too boring; by the time you get to the top levels, you'll have everything pretty much maxed out as long as you're getting at least a few 4's and 5's here and there, with some 2's and 3's mixed in. Concentrate more on playing the game, the stories, etc., and you will have a much more fun playthrough than if you concentrate just on those numbers.
I'll try to help if I can.

the only attribute that really makes a difference at high levels is endurance, it pays to get that up to 100 A.S.A.P because this will give you more health, other than that efficient leveling is only a way to cut down on your max level therefore making the game easier.
p.s.
