Dwemer Puzzle Box
Hi fellow players,
I have finished the Darius part of the Imperial Legion Quest. I know the gamefaqs advise to go to the Buckworth Fort and search for a guy names Imsim but it is possible to return to Balmora to Cosades for new orders.
He sends me to Antabolis who ask me a favor for information. The favor of Antabolis is to search for a thing called "The Dwemer Puzzle Box" in Arkngthand.
I am sure I am there...cause it is the right location near Fort Moonworth. It is a couple of Ruins...but I can't find an artifact / thing in the size of my fist wich can be "The Dwemer Puzzle Box". Can some one help me ?????
regards,
Ronald

Yes. Are you in those huge ruins (inside are huge)? anyway i believe that there is a walkthrough that leads you to the box so you evade all the other enemies. the box is on one of the shelves.
Well this is part of the mian quest so...

To get to Arkngthand, leave Balmora via the south entrance, and then turn east. Continue east past the first sign, and turn northeast at the second, heading up the hill toward Caldera. A short way up the hill you should see a sign pointing to Molag Mar. Continue in that direction until you approach a bridge. At the end of this bridge is Snowy Granius, who will attack you upon sight. If you are unable to avoid the conflict, you will need to take him out. Be prepared, as he can summon skeletons to battle you.
After you have passed Snowy Granius and reached Arkngthand, you will need to turn the crank outside to open the gate. Continue inside and down the spiral to the bottom, taking out whatever enemies approach you. Once you finally reach the cavern floor, turn west and you should see a ledge above you. If you climb the rocks onto this ledge you will come to a door that leads to the Cells of Hollow Hand. Beyond this door is Boss Crito and the Dwemer Puzzle Box. Kill him if you wish, but after obtaining the Dwemer Puzzle Box you may leave.
If, however, you are fairly strong, you may wish to stay and explore the rest of Arkngthand. There are quite a few valuable Dwemer artifacts inside, as well as some Dwemer armor and weaponry. Take care, if you do search, as some of the enemies get rather difficult the deeper you go.
Finally, with the Dwemer Puzzle Box in hand, return to Hasphat and he will give you some information regarding the Sixth House. Information on Nerevarine, however, he does not have. As a result, you will now need to return to Caius Cosades and give him what you do have. Upon reading it he will send you to Sharn gra-Muzgob in the Balmora Mages Guild. Fortunately the Mages Guild is right next to the Fighters Guild, so it should be easy to find.
Hah. A tricky part. You'll feel stupid. The box is right near the entrance, in a chamber on the MIDDLE floor of the huge ruin (above the three doors). Stand in front of these three doors, see a sloping rock on your left, climb it.

Then I conclude that I am not at the right place. I have found ruins somewhere between Balmora and Ald Ruhn..... There are stairs, no doors and when you climb in one of the huge ruins, you will never get out....except when by loading your game again when you have saved it before climbing in.
The ruins I have found are in the Mountains....I guess it is Arkngthand where I am now. Thanks for your advises.. Can anybody tell me where I am now and where Arkngthand is located from Buckmorth Fort.

There are no healers in the game. Sleeping in a (legal) bed restores health. Besides that there are potions (highly recommended to make lots of your own using alchemy skill), spells and healing items.

It's not about cheating, this guy apparently has no idea about -regular- methods of healing. Good show passing the Dwemer Cube quest without healing self, even if completely unnecessary.

For sleeping in the city you must sleep in a bed but not in "someone else's" bed. That is illegal. I think you can sleep in Cosades bed, or one of the blades operatives he told you about. I think one of those is a healer also. Most guild halls of the FQ and MG have public bunks you can use if you are a member. Or if you leave the city you can sleep anywhere in the wilderness. In the wilderness use the T key. To sleep in a bed point the cursor at the bed and hit the spacebar.
What words do you have for me, citizen?
Thanks Vook, for pointing that out. I don't think that people looking for answers, always want a cheat or spoiler. I know myself; that when I started playing Morrowind, I had no idea of how vast the control over a character could be. Tho, when I hit the net to search for an answer sometimes I got more than I bargained for. Nothing against a spoiler every now and again, but maybe just give what they need first and see if they can find the rest on their own. It's not about cheating, this guy apparently has no idea about -regular- methods of healing.
You forgot to mention that all taverns also have beds. but one needs to talk to bartender to rent it. and it costs 10 gold pieces. so if you prefer staying in a hotel thna sleeping outside taverns and guesthouses are the choice.JNeilWix wrote:For sleeping in the city you must sleep in a bed but not in "someone else's" bed. oh yeah box is very near the entrance, but those ruins are big to explore so why deprive a man of that
yeah, once you enter the large chamber, on your left, theres a slopping ramp, go up it, the turn to your left, go throught the door, and kill the two-or-so guys there. the box is on a shelf to your left, middle shelf, if i remember correctly. (i did this quest, like, 4 months ago) i went through the whole place before i found the ramp. i felt extreamly stupid.
