Where do you Live in Cyrodiil?
Seeing as there is a topic like this in morrowind, i figured i might as well make one for oblivion:
I live in Fishermans rock for the hunter i'm roleplaying now, its got good views, and a bit of company in the Npcs.
[POLL] Concerning the poll, i just made it to see if people live in one particular area or not.[/POLL]

My two favorite homes are the Skingrad house I have on one character, and the Fighters Stronghold on another. I bought all the upgrades for the Skingrad house and customized it and re-decorated it, so now it's like an awesome Nord meadhall-esque house. My other favorite would be Battlehorn Castle. I've yet to buy all of the upgrades for it, but I customized the master bedroom, especially the kitchen part of it. And I stored my wine collection in the cellar. And all the stuffed trophies I have are pretty sweet too
.
Signature? What? I'd need a pen! But wait, I can't write my signature on the **** screen! And this ain't no check or contract! Whadda need my signature for?
Right now I'm playing a Nord "paladin" of sorts who lives in Skingrad. I'm on PS3 so official homes are limited. Since that's so boring, I'll share my favorite place I've ever called home (and where I think I'll live with my next character as this one's getting boring).
------------------------------------------
In the Market District of the Imperial City there's a small "garden" area, where you spy on Thoronir and Agarmir during Unfriendly Competition. Directly next to where they have their little conversation there's a hollow log used as a drop for a Dark Brotherhood quest and about three meters from THAT there's an entrance to the sewers.
The log never respawns unless you active the quest (at least it never has for me. Someone may want to verify that in CS) and when you go into the sewers there's a perfect little room with a bed. Perfect for certain RPing characters (thieves, etc). The only problem is that there are bandits on the other side of a door leading out of the little room, so you can't sleep. The door is locked from the other side, so you can't kill them. So, before it's truly accessable, you have to travel approximately twice around Nirn to open that door. Specifically through The North Tunnel. It just contains bandits and annoying animals.

I sleep every night and eat in the morning and so on for roleplaying purposes.belemnoid wrote:I've bought most of the houses. However, I 'live' in Rosethorn Hall. Which just means that I keep all my crap there. I don't usually sleep anywhere unless it's time to level up. And when that time comes I use any bed that's handy.
On The player at the moment though i live in the temple sewers for my roleplaying sewer dweller

I like in the mansion from battlethorn castle add on (sp?)
Although theives den, vile lair, and frostgire(sp??) spire come with better rewards and battlethorn dosnt have much (although it has that secret quest) its looks the best out of all of them IMO.I don't really like living underground in dunbarrow (SP?????) cave and frostgire(-.-) spire makes me feel lonely. Vile lair is alright though.
Overall im a very dumb person because im on pc and I could of just gotten a house mod -.-

Spoiler alert!
I've bought all the houses for sale in the game and all the bits to go with them (without mods).
However, the one I consider 'home' is Benerius Manor in Anvil. A beautiful town, where I can stand on top of the lighthouse and watch the sun set every evening, plus a gorgeous, fully furnished house complete with a creepy secret room in the cellar and a necromancer's altar. What's not to love?
My second favourite is probably the Cheydinhal house. Interesting town, nice architecture, plenty of Dunmer and it's near to my workplace (the DB sanctuary).

"Like a dark gift from the Night Mother herself"
Skingrad is my preferred lodging. Despite owning all the houses in the game, Skingrad is the one find myself making my official headquarters. The house in Cheydinhal is the second-best in my opinion.

Currently reside on the waterfront. I have items of little value inside the shack, however one or two thieves insist on keeping a close eye on my house...
And having Armand Christophe as a neighbour with his love for wielding a burning torch is surely a fire hazard. I'd move my small collection of books elsewhere but have little options at the moment
. Spare some coin?
