Like you choose if you want a cool power but getting it kills another guy who can give you extra quests or change the story a bit.

Re: ELDER SCROLLS VI: ALINOR
this is what Ive done for a cool elven song
"
Our dark brothers have fallen from the lost Red Mountain,
And the Nords have reclaimed with the great Dovahkiin,
And the Empires might drove out all our of kind,
Dragons have returned to a new age in time,
But our enemies have come back to destroy all of Nirn,
Our mighty army no match for when darkness returns"

Re: ELDER SCROLLS VI: ALINOR
Like you can choose the greater good, destroying the evil power and helping everybody out, or turn on everybody to secure your own power *cough*heartless [&@%!]*cough*
The evil path would be joining, then turning on the necromancers to become the new King of Worms, then the good path would be, say, joining the Psijic Order and becoming a member or something.

Yeah you take a powerful skull that gives you power but taking it kills everyone around including the Psijic that helped you.

Re: ELDER SCROLLS VI: ALINOR
And all this isn't related to prophecy cause Dovahkiin was the last hero. So pretty much nobody saw it coming and it caused a massive outbreak of chaos and conflict because nobody knows what to do or who to save them.

Or more like to secure your power you destroy the Psijic Order and overtake it, and you become an immortal, all-powerful warlock.

Re: ELDER SCROLLS VI: ALINOR
Right suddenly the Thalmor have a new enemy that threatens them. They didn't think the Dragonborn's Empire would be any threat, and now some powerful Necromancers are trying to beat the Thalmor at their own game. Then the independent provinces see their time to strike, so the Thalmor's territory is attacked by the Empire, Necromancers, and the independent provinces.

Re: ELDER SCROLLS VI: ALINOR
None of the independant provinces could attack except Elsweyr, High Rock and Hammerfell because Argonians are doing ritual stuff, Valenwood is Thalmor, Skyrim and Cyrodiil are recovering and Dark Elves are too damaged.

Blade agents are in Summerset to keep an eye Thalmor activities.

Re: ELDER SCROLLS VI: ALINOR
Actually I guess it would just be Hammerfell and High Rock, because I thought the Khajiit were loyal to the Thalmor? And maybe the Bretons, Redguards, and Orcs form an alliance so it's Thalmor vs. Necromancers vs. the Empire vs. Bretons/Redguards/Orcs
So would Skyrim have rejoined the Empire, or Stormcloaks have taken over? If Dragonborn is Emperor, that must mean Skyrim is Imperial, but the Stormcloak remnant could still join High Rock, Hammerfell, and Orsinium.
So the Blades would be the Empire's spies who first reported the return of the King of Worms?

Re: ELDER SCROLLS VI: ALINOR
Dragonborn respects the Nords so he leaves Skyrim to be Nords again. The Empire is too weak right now to attack summerset.

And Blades would inspect Thalmor in case of High Elven attack.

Re: ELDER SCROLLS VI: ALINOR
The Empire wouldn't leave Skyrim alone. The Empire has to rebuild as fast as possible to combat the Thalmor, and that would mean gathering or (re)conquering other provinces.

Re: ELDER SCROLLS VI: ALINOR
But even with dragons there armies are weak from the war getting high elves out of Cyrodiil. What about Argonians and Hist? There could be something there.

Re: ELDER SCROLLS VI: ALINOR
The Argonians built an empire of their own, using the Hist after smashing the Dunmer? That would be intersting. I'd like to know more of what the Argonians have for their army.

Re: ELDER SCROLLS VI: ALINOR
So if there's not a war between nations, it would be Alinor's own civil war?
