Batch List for Hearthfire Homes
Does anyone have a batch list that will give all the required items to fully build and furnish a home? If not, is this something that other people would get use out of if I were to take time to make and submit one here? Or would it be a waste of my time?

There's one on the wiki, under 'Construction' if I recall correctly.

Unless we are referring to different things all that is is a list of what materials are required for each room or furnishing item, and how many of each you need. I mean an actual batch list one would use in the console to obtain very easily all the required materials for a house. And by executing the batch file thrice, one would be able to completely build and furnish all three houses in a matter of minutes.

Oh, sorry, I misunderstood. I don't know anything about that kind.

If I took the time to make one is that something people would use or would it be a waste of my time?

I'm sure someone would use it. It may be that lots of people would and just haven't thought about it. Wouldn't hurt making and posting it somewhere, I'd say.

Where would you recommend I post it? I don't see any sections designated for batch lists. That would be a neat idea though... Post batch lists for various things...

If you have a wiki account you could post it to your user page.

I have an account (obviously) for the forums. Is that the same?Musicman247 wrote:If you have a wiki account you could post it to your user page.
Anyways, here is the list. This will give you 1000 of each item that is required to build your house. This is enough to build and furnish all three houses, no matter your choice of wings. There will though be a lot of everything left over.
If you want to adjust the quantity of items required, alter the "1000" at the end to the desired amount. Also, in order to use this list properly, you will have to have hearthfire as your only official plug-in, or have hearthfire load first. If you have more than just heartfire for official DLC, you can alter the list as follows to make it compatible.
any item that has a code of 01XXXXXX must be altered based on how many official plug-ins you have installed. The number must match the place hearthfire is in gour load list. If you have (for example) Vanilla Skyrim, Dawnguard, Dragonborn, and Hearthfire, you must change the items to be 03XXXXXX. If you have only Skyrim, Dawnguard, and Hearthfire, it would be 02XXXXXX.
Anyways, here's the list. Hidden in the spoiler, should you want to use it.

No, you'd have to make a separate account. Having the ability to use the same account for both the wiki and forums has come up for discussion recently, but it will probably be quite some time before it happens, if it happens at all.Moon_Struck wrote:I have an account (obviously) for the forums. Anyway, Musicman is right- posting it on your wiki userpage would be fine. It would even be acceptable to link to that userpage from the Construction talk page if you wanted more people to see it.

Re: Batch List for Hearthfire Homes
I have updated to confirm everything works right. The list give you everything you need to fully build and furnish all three houses with any combination of wings you want. I've also added instructions on how to modify the list if necessary, and an explanation of when you would have to modify it.
I hope someone else gets some use out of this as well... It took me a bit of time to test it all and look up item codes and ensure its all good to go.
Enjoy!
I've also submitted it to the discussion page, and am now attempting to add it to my page, as was directed by Musicman.
If anyone else has any ideas on how to get word out about this, I've love to hear them.
