I think "on topic" is pretty straightforward. I'm asking because a few editors had questions about terms, so I started a common forum lingo section on the wiki page. Think I nailed some good examples there.

Yeah, the downside to the wiki is sometimes new changes don't show up if you don't log in with a wiki account. I wish they'd change that.

I actually had to google that one when someone mentioned it in IRC, but I understand what you mean about keeping it more general to the forums rather than specific to certain subforums. Either way, I love that you've added that lingo section to the wiki forums page, because I am definitely someone who needs to learn it.
