Serana partially Soul Traps you, and after you are done you go and find a Soul Gem, Valerica explains that when you touch it you will go back to normal

then after you talk to Valerica when you tell her to Leave the Soul Cairn, she tells you that ''your body has become accustomed to the soul cairn, lets just a little bit of you rubbed off on it and a little bit of it took its place''


i suspect that if you died you just become like any other spirit in the Soul Cairn, wandering about aimlessly in the Barren Wasteland, cause you already lost part of your soul, if you died the Ideal Masters could claim the rest of it

Further to my Dragonborn's Soul question, would the Dovahkiin really be bound by Nocturnal's Nightingale contract? I guess this has been asked before...

If you tell Tsun in Sovngarde that you're a Nightingale, he'll say something like "Your soul already belongs to Nocturnal", which implies you're going to Nocturnal's realm instead of Sovngarde.

Since we can uses a sentence or two as our only bases of conclusion, you should tell that he will still say that you may go to Sovngarde at the end. Tsun canceled himself out.

That only happens if you are soul trapped, and you do not stay soul trapped. So I doubt it. In fact, you do not even need to be soul trapped to go inside the Soul Cairn. She was simply saying that you both changed. You like the Soul Cairn, and the Soul Cairn like you. If you stay however, you will need to stay there. Forever.
