Your Hopes For the Next DLC?
Re: Your Hopes For the Next DLC?
Oh well, still a Vampire vs Werewolf DLC would be nice.

Re: Your Hopes For the Next DLC?
^^ Gods no. There was Dawnguard for that. Seriously, Bethesda has gone over and out of their ways to make vampires and werewolves deep in the game. Perk trees? Enough. Time for something new.

Re: Your Hopes For the Next DLC?
Unarmed fighting skill tree would be great and a few more moves (kicks/punches/finishers).
They would obviously would have to add a "mode" in order to access it.
Add at least as many moves as they managed to include in Fallout NV

Everyone keeps comparing ES and fallout. They're two different games. Wouldn't make any sense. And kicks in first person always look derpy.

Re: Your Hopes For the Next DLC?
Well, because unarmed combat is in another game is no reason to exclude it from another.
It was in Oblivion and just a teaser amount in Skyrim.
As far as it realistically being able to take down stronger foes...well, we're not talking about just muscle doing unarmed dmg, but special perks/magic/more enchants available to boost output to better levels.
I just think new modes/skill trees offer a parallel way to experience a playthrough.

Well unarmed kill animations are in skyrim. I'm sure they took the skill out since it wasn't that used or like you said not made that well.

Re: Your Hopes For the Next DLC?
Just a little thing I've thought of that I'd like to see. A Perk you can pick up, kinda like the new powers you can get from the Black Books in Dragonborn, that let's you have two followers at once. I've stumbled upon a glitch that let's me get Serana and another follower recently, and I've been having a blast traveling with her and Lydia. Don't need the extra back up, but its fun for me. And since we'll always find glitches around these things anyway (in FO3, I had Charon, Star Paladin Cross and Fawkes all at once for a while on my good character), and I'm sure there are mods on the PC version, they should just give us a legit way to get a small party together.

I'd actually like the next glc to be a simple one, like a Rebuilding Helgen dlc. Sort of like Hearthfire, except you can choose what shops/homes/services are there, rebuilding it piece-by-piece, and you can ask your followers if they would like to move in there.

Re: Your Hopes For the Next DLC?
Wouldn't require being some sort of ranking thane in Falkreath? Which isn't hard, and bethesda never really expands preexisting questlines. I could however see a separate questline where you'd need to clear Helgen and get the Jarl's favor to restore the townSilentPsycho wrote:I'd actually like the next glc to be a simple one, like a Rebuilding Helgen dlc. Dovahkiindom...
Sort of has a nice ring to it.
Plenty of mods out there which do it, so it can't be that hard...

Re: Your Hopes For the Next DLC?
the only thing in Winterhold worth looking at is the college. Otherwise its completely useless and contributes nothing to Skyrim. Rebuilding winterhold would be a huge improvement and definitely something that would draw attentionZackyZombify wrote:I agree. Winterhold is TOO mysterious.

Re: Your Hopes For the Next DLC?
Maybe it could be a gift for those who complete the Civil War. Either Ulfric or Elisif would name you a Jarl, and gift Helgen to you, making a new region of Skyrim.Derp53 wrote:Wouldn't require being some sort of ranking thane in Falkreath? Re: Your Hopes For the Next DLC?
If we're improving a city, I vote for Morthal. I could accept the others, but Morthal's just so sad and depressing... There's no blacksmith, no general merchants, no shrines that I could find, none of the Kajeet caravans stop there...
Actually, it would be really cool to have a medium-sized DLC to improve all three.

Re: Your Hopes For the Next DLC?
The reason morthal is like that is because of the jarl and it's location. It's said many times in game that people end up avoiding Morthal all together from the way the torches and fog look like will-o-the-wisps. And that the jarl doesn't tax the citizens much or at all. So low income means fewer shops. They live off the income of the sawmill and that's it.

Yeah, I get the reasons, but I think the location is awesome, and I wish there was a little more there.

Re: Your Hopes For the Next DLC?
I think Bethesda is done with Skyrim, and I'd say I'm satisfied, certainly their best creation as of yet.
Now they should get to work on finishing Fallout 4, I've got mutants to kill!

They're not. Why? 3 DLC's for one of the best selling games of all time when Fallout and Oblivion had more? That doesn't make any sense. Especially when Skyrim remains so popular a year after it's release.
Also, they've gone on record as saying there is more on the way.. and if Dragonborn was the last DLC they would have said so, like they did with Shivering Isles.

Re: Your Hopes For the Next DLC?
Nooo, skyrim is so covered with caves and underground passages and such. I'm surprised it hasn't collapsed in on itself. I'm sure they'll add a new home in one of the next two dlcs or in both. Most people are waiting for a castle as in the Fighter's Stronghold dlc for Oblivion. I like the rebuild Helgen and become jarl idea. Also the winterhold idea. I'd honestly like the Gray Fox to make an appearance, same for Count Hassildor.

Re: Your Hopes For the Next DLC?
Thieves Guild members as companions please.
Can we get an option to have followers join something other than the Blades?
I mean, like, wouldn't Erik the Slayer be an awesome companion? Wouldn't it be neat to have Jenassa hanging out in the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary?

Re: Your Hopes For the Next DLC?
Forgive me if i've already mentioned this.
Skyrim's version of Old World Blues. Instead of SCIENCE, Magic is involved and instead of 4 brains, a group of mad mages and a plot that is more comedy as all of Skyrim's main quests(DLC included) have been serious. The plot could be that a group of insane mages want to craft Sheo's thumb into the side of the throat of the world then create their own island out of a massive sweetroll or a island appears near Skyrim and the mages own it. It's a long forgotten guild for mages that have gone a bit insane(the ooo pretty colours, not the MWHAHA, i'm princess stabbity, stab, kill, kill) and want to unleash a massive tidal wave of sweetrols, mudcrabs something that would be a bit funny. It would be an excuse to include a lot of magic that can be explained by the DLC. "oh the scare your enemies spell, yeah, the sweetroll told me that etc.." The magic could include an illusion spell that makes a massive illusion of yourself and serves as a distraction(most effective on dragons), Summon the Mudcrab king(for some bizzare reason, he wear's a party hat and speaks in a posh accent or at least that what the people of the island claim), an alternation spell that causes you to disguise yourself as food, item etc..(would be randomly selected from a list every time you use it), a destruction spell that is a massive fist(requires two hands to cast) that is made out of the elements and only flicks your enemy(inflicts X amount of damage based on mage's power) and for conjuration, a talking sword(can either be an on off spell or lasts for a few ingame hours). It could say"About time you summoned me, now.. yeah, we are not fighting that are we?, Dear mudcrab lover, you got your blood on me and i'm annoyed, you won't like me when i'm annoyed and so forth.
They could include a talking armour that you can get into an argument with or even get into a comedic fight with it via dialogue. Such as "right, i've had enough of you, release me!", "no, i found you and you belong to me", "is that so?"*Your armour feels like it's getting tighter and you try to take it off, it takes control of your left fist and punches you. etc..
