Blacklight: Day of the Wolf

Chris took out his gun and followed the others.

[p-sto]

Katarzyna followed who she hoped was Chris out of the truck.

[Kerr]

Chris looked at Katarzyna who was just behind him. "This your first time doing this sort of thing?" asked Chris.

[p-sto]

"I'm used to operating alone." She decided not to mention her disdain for Blacklight or the fact that she didn't trust anyone in the team and also the fact that indeed she had never done anything like this before.

[Kerr]

"I see." said Chris. We have more than magic in common. We're both being intentionally vague for a reason.

[Hissien]

"Do you guys see anything? Any signs of the hellhounds?" Hunter asked, he had noticed little out of the ordinary, and most of that appeared to be from pests.

[p-sto]

Katarzyna started walking faster, not that she particularly wanted to catch up to the rest of them. Really she would feel more comfortable around the hellhounds but it was the only thing she could think of to get this whole thing over with.

Katazyna heard a low growl from her left.

[p-sto]

Katarzyna raised her hands defensively and looked left. "Chris I think I just heard something." She called out, finally giving into her fear.

[Justice knight]

With the night vision, Katarzyna could make just make out a pair of flaming eyes within the dark.

Jan looked towards two of the soldiers who had been walking together. One of them had just said something. She looked through the sight of her rifle in their direction.

[Nova]

"Fukcers are scared." Vaas commented as he continued looking for the hounds.

[Justice knight]

Jan too could just make out the flaming eyes.
Vaas heard a low growl from above him.

[p-sto]

Panicked Katarzyna attempted to shoot a lightning bolt at the glowing eyes.

[Rook]

Jason drew his Dragonslayer, trying to stay close to Jan. "Remember, Jason, he thought to himself, "stay with the deadliest member of your group. And right now, that's her."

[Nova]

Vaas aimed above him. "I got you [&@%!]."

[Hissien]

Hunter brought up his demon pistol and fired at the damn thing.

[Justice knight]

The Hellhound leaped at Vaas.
The lightning bolt struck the eyes, which grew dim.
Howls echoed through the tunnel.

[Kerr]

Chris looked at where Katarzyna was looking. "Do you think it's dead?" asked Chris.

[Archer]

Nic caught up with the rest of the group after grabbing a Holy Sword, a Demonhammer, and a ring of holy light. "Damn, you guys move fast.", he said, ignorant of the Hellhounds around him.

[Justice knight]

The howls grew much louder.

[p-sto]

Katarzyna, too shaken up for words, approached where she had just shot lightning to get a closer look.

[Hissien]

Hunter looked for the source of the howling, more hellhounds he assumed. He brought up his pistol.

[Kerr]

Chris followed just behind her. "More are coming." said Chris. "Last thing we need is this one getting up."

[Justice knight]

The Hellhound was very dead. Flames from inside the Hellhound licked the area around the scorched hole in it's head.

The howling came from deeper within.
