Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
Woke up, ate breakfast, decided I was too cold and tired to do anything, so I went back to bed for two hours. Played Skyrim, did some cooking and cleaning, babysat, went to work, and now I'm working on a website. (It's for a small cottage rental business, and will be the first site I ever put online.) Hoping to get that done this week and make some money.

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
I think I spent a good six hours on Skyrim today.
It's good to be playing on a non-glitchy game again. Though I suppose it's only a matter of time until it starts glitching again.
I'm also getting worried about my cat. He's showing signs of diabetes.
I don't know when we can get him into the vet, but I know that we need to get him in there as soon as possible. Before it's too late to help him.
I just can't help but think about the old dog and how, if we had simply noticed that something was wrong, we might have been able to prevent her death.
It's making me sad again and I've spent the last hour crying on and off.
I'm just going to go to bed, though I really doubt I'll be able to sleep tonight. Too much stress.
If I can't sleep, then I'll write. I've been ignoring Vulom's story lately and I really shouldn't be.

Today my wife left for San Antonio for a week (work). Expect much sadness and crankiness from this Man of Music.

Hey, just because she left doesn't mean you can wear my cranky pants.
(But seriously, don't worry! You'll be okay! I hope she has safe travels.

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
Wasting my day listening to one track albums so far. Ambient\shoegaze, drone\noise stuff from Boris. I think I'm in love. How can a band can get from such inaccessible genres (and do it well), to then play very up-beat and energetic stoner (still with some droney and noise elements here and there), and then to... dreampop is beyond me. And let's play some hardcore (japanese style) while we're at it.

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
Spent most of my day on the computer again.
I think.
Well, sort of. I spent a while cuddling with my cat since he seemed so desperate for attention. Then I went back to my computer.
Of course, the cat followed me; he's my little furry stalker. My incredibly loud furry stalker.
Eh. Anyway, I'm going to bed. I'm tired from last night (couldn't sleep) and it's nearly midnight.

Worked, got a new purse (finally; my last one fell apart), got my textbooks for the coming semester (bleh), and am working on the same website again. CSS can be so annoying sometimes when working with images and trying to line stuff up neatly. At least the mistakes I'm making now, I'll know how to get around them in the future.

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
As usual, I spent most of my day on the computer again. Reading, this time, because apparently my old PC wasn't in the mood for games.
Then again, neither was I.
I've got a dentist appointment booked for next Friday to tighten up my retainer. Again.
My cat also has an appointment with the vet for Monday. See what's going on with him.
Anyway, I'm tired so I'm just going to go to bed. I ain't staying up until 2am tonight.

I made some delicious potato flautas, and wrote about spiders for hours. Also managed to explain to someone how to use the CK without ever having used it myself!

Someone rang my doorbell this morning and woke me up. Ugggh. So much for sleeping in! (I didn't answer, though. They can come back later!)

I played risk this morning with my friends. And I was lucky to have chosen Australia as my starting point. Because I started losing my hold on Asia faster than the UNSC lost Harvest in the beginning of the human-covenant war. Seriously, every battle was a near defeat with a last stand on Australia. But I won that battle, and then proceeded to MESS UP every single one of friends until all they had was Peru. Which I handily took in two turns

Took me four frigging hours to beat.
The worse part? You can only fight it for eight minutes at a time.

that doesn't seem to make sense, what do you mean you can only fight it for 8 minutes at a time?

It flies away after 8 minutes. You have to leave the area and come back.
The amount of damage you do saves though.

It is at first but then it vet's a little tedious having to watch the cut scene for the fourteenth time...
