We need to get some stories up in here. I would find it a lot easier to write if I wasn't so obsessed with the details. This evening, I shall sit down and just see what comes out.

I have to as well, but it's new years day. And I'll have to wean myself off of Halo 4 to pull up Skyrim and deal with the 10 minute loading screens

Yeah, I haven't been feeling the Skyrim lately. Around the holidays, I haven't been focusing on it. In fact, I haven't played Skyrim seriously in 2 or 3 months. But I will try to get back in so I can start writing some.

Skyrim is my escape. Its the only computer game I play, since I don't have much time for gaming to begin with. Although since my husband has been out of town this past week, I have been gaming more than usual. So expect Felina's story to be up when he finally returns next week and hogs the computer back. :p

I've got a bit more of the story of them written up. Not much about Ancaron yet though, but I've tried to make the earlier story more descriptive, if you guys want to read it.

It's not so much innovation as it trying to make the writing fun again for me. I think I've reached my limit for being able to justify the level of violence that comes with Skyrim. It's a shame because there were some ideas I was quite excited with.

There's plenty to write about that doesn't require the use of violence. There are an abundance of ahimsa moments in the game that would make great tales. There's so much more to Skyrim besides killing and blowing things up. Honestly? It would be nice to see this thread returned to what it used to be: a place where we could post our creative inspirations just for fun.

I would agree, I've had plenty of those moments with Alana recently with buying Breezehome, adopting Lucia, Marrying Athis, and working on crafting. I just have no time to write. I'm super busy lately

I know. I keep thinking of all these ideas but then I haven't been in the mood for writing. Its like I'm going through some weird faze of marinating on ideas that I may eventually write.

A couple:
-Felina takes Lucan into the marsh to collect deathbells. They get attacked by a group of Chaurus Reapers (swarm? cuz they be insects?)
-Felina and Onmund having a discussion about how to parent their daughter Runa, who is afraid of everything and cries when told to go play outside.

I really do hope this thread comes back into use. I had a ton of fun here, especially with you two. But I don't know, mid-December I had a change of view on some things.

It seems like we all did. I think the important part to remember is that writing is like channeling, and it should come from your heart. Write what inspires you. I would enjoy writing about Felina's family much more than her contracts.

Agreed, I had lots of fun here with you guys, too. We don't need the game to come up with stories, although the game throws some interesting things out at you that are worth a good laugh. I just think this thread should be for anybody wanting to share their creativity.

tbh, I'm kind of a [@#@] with telling people whether their stuff is interesting or not. And while I really just want to express everything in spoilers and let it out there. I'll just eat a slice of dovahkiin's thought pie and go with that. Cause I liked it better with just assassin540, p-sto, and dovahkiin2012.

^^ Well...this is the assassin's thread.

And if it comes back, it comes back. If it doesn't, it doesn't. At least we all had a good time participating. I'm not so much into writing the fanfic anymore. Really, I find it much nicer to have free reign over my own ideas rather than write about someone else's. These threads helped rejuvenate my writing and that's been rad.
