Future RP Ideas

VirtualWeasel and I have been thinking of doing an RP set in a fantasy universe in a few months, which as been created by Duruza, Chaos, VirtualWeasel, me, Cardbird, Eltee, Blackfire and Sloady. Would any one be interested?

Well, it's just an idea. We've not got the plot worked out yet. And the RP isn't going to start for at least a few months.

Baloth, the world is called Atheryin. It's getting late here (1:25AM). I'll explain more tomorrow.

Yes, with Cardbird and the others since January. He's been banned since October.

Baloth, Weasel and I think it will use a system akin to Kerr's RPs and Tyranny.

Classes and Skills are yet to be officially worked out, we're still in a rough stage with the RP, so we'll have that up here a little later.

It takes place in a world called Atheryin.
To be honest it's not really comparable to anything, IMO. It's very unique and we've put a lot of time into ensuring that it is so.
I don't really know where to start... So I'll just give you a link to the wiki we've been adding to for some time now. The world still is far from finished, so expect a lot of links to nowhere. We have reached a point, however, in which we can successfully run a stable RP based on its lore.

From what I've seen, it sort of looks like a unique mix between mass effect (but fantasy) and Lord of the Rings. Pretty cool! I hope to see some responsible DMs follow up on it

Essentially, yes.
A lot of the lore has yet to be added because, well, we've lost a fair deal of contributors, so production of lore is really slow now.
But, we plan to add a lot before the RP starts, so that you guys will have as much details as you need

Right. If you are DMing another RP, no matter how slow or big or freeform it is, you can't start another one until the first is finished. We will lock if we have to.

Does this include RP's that are already well established ? Like If a DM has two RPs (One Freeform and One Planned) will he be allowed to keep them if he's say 600 pages or so in ?

So if I'm giving a first time GM a helping hand I can't start my own RP or if I'm running my own RP I have to tell a would be GM who asks for help no?

DMs are allowed to ask each other for advice. But we already said there was a "one RP per DM" policy. So, you cannot DM your current roleplay and help someone else DM theirs as a co-DM, basically.

Pre-existing conditions are covered, but only if they have started already. Saying you're going to be starting one soon doesn't count.

Hope Falls won't start until SIAR II is over.

Edit edit: One per DM. No exceptions!

However, we'll allow roleplays already open to stay open...but those DMs may not start a new one until they are finished. And not sloppily; that's not fair to your players.
