I did the Console Command that gives the player all the spells once, just out of curiosity. It was over 500 spells. It give you all spells, powers, & effects. There were probably about 20 spells that had <missing name>. I checked the Construction Set, and there are a few spells that do not have names. They are not actually spells, but triggered spell effects.

I did not check items, since that is such a huge area.

Most NPC's have leveled random items. A few, usually Quest Related NPC's, have Specific Items in thier Inventories. If you could post the Name of the NPC you saw this on, I could check what they are supposed to have. Did you steal it? Does it have an Icon Picture which would indicate what type of item it was?

Most TEST items have (test) in thier Editor ID, and usually have a name.

The name is what shows up when you hover your cross hairs over it. Which is why triggers do not have names, you would know when you were about to set off a trap.

If you did steal the item, could you get the ItemID, and post it. Plus any other info would help for me to look it up in the CS.

It was Delphine Jend, Bravil Mages Guild. She has a "Ponder item". No wieght, no value, no benificial use for the Player. It also has no name, thus the <missing name> tag. EditorID: PonerItem, FormID 2340.

If you watch her, she will occassionally have her hand on her chin, like she is thinking.

I have a potion called "Name Potion". Created when I ran out of ingredients but was making potions very fast. It has no effects listed, no effect if used (just vanishes), it weights 0.1 and is worth 37 gold.

Can you can sell it? At least it would't be a total loss.

Not only I can sell it, I made it from thin air :) I had like 60 tomatos, 60 grapes and made 60 restore fatigue potions, plus this one :)

Nope. I managed to produce other potions with wrong names this way though. If I produce lots of potion that takes 3 or more ingredients, say restore health and fatigue and it's to be called "restore health+', and I run out of an ingredient that gives the restore health effect, one of the resulting restore fatigue potions is called "restore health+", the rest get the right name "restore fatigue" as the game switches the name automatically.

The trick is to produce lots of potions really fast. Just keep clicking really very fast (ever played Decathlon?) starting with 50+ pieces of ingredient and run out of the ingredient while clicking like this - the game lags a little behind clicking with actual production.

Interesting.

I ususally don't make potions in large quanities like that. I usually make potions when they are Encumbering me to much, then sell the potions I don't need. I also do them slowly, as I don't want to raise my skills, and level when I'm not ready. The exception being when I have my other skill where I want them, then am trying for a level.

My Alchemy Skill is 90 now, so it won't be an issue in two more Levels.

I'll try that, saving ingredients in my home, then do one big alchemy session. See what happens.

you don't need lots of -different- ingredients :) Just 2 kinds.

Though more may cause more lag - I'm not sure, my alchemy sessions are always HUGE. I gather lots of ingredients, when I pick them all up, my encumberance goes to like 2500, then after creating the basic essentials (like another 200 "damage health" poisons) I sometimes spend a hour or two making different strange potions :) The potions and poisons are like half of my character's load weight, but that's what playing an alchemist is like :)

So How do you get your High Endurance?

Sure I do train some heavy armour, block and armourer, have some iron armour just for that, but honestly, I don't care and my max HP isn't all that high. A job of alchemist means I can always quaff 2-4 restore health potions (10pts for 20s each?) and start exchanging blows with the enemy. No power can keep taking 40hp per second for more than 20s, and if the battle lasts longer, I drink up a few more. If for a moment I'm in danger because the enemy attacked really strong, I just stand back and dodge for 3-4s till my health meter fills up again :) If the battle takes longer than I want, I drink some multi-effects containing various "fortify" and such.

Of course this only happens if the enemy is entirely immune to poison.

Sorry, typo, I actualy meant Encumbrance.
encumberance goes to like 2500
Just wondering if you could move like that, or if you meant when you did do an Alchemy Session, you had that much indgreedients on you, but couldn't move?

the latter. I stand next to the container, pick everything up, make the potions without moving, dump whatever leftover ingredients and alchemy equipment I have into the container, drop most of personal weaponry and armour, cast feather spells and go sell enough to be able to walk on my own again. Then unload 2/3 of my potions onto the horse (saddlebags mod), go back to pick my equipment and go adventuring. 100 poisons used on one ayleid ruin isn't too much.
