Quality time at home is good, I hope she's enjoying it.
As for skills, I'm thinking archery for handling groups and maybe two handed to level the playing field against other enemies with two-handed weapons. Just need to get my hands on a quarter staff first. Definitely alchemy as well. I'm going to go light on magic but not exclude it completely. The idea I'm going with is treating magicka like qi is treated in taiji and kung fu. So the concept is he's trained himself grow his capacity for magicka and circulates it in the body for superhuman strength and speed. He could cast spells but doing so would weaken his body. So really when I level I'm going to put most of the bonuses into health and stamina but say it actually the result of magicka. I'll use healing and flesh spells but role play as passive effects of his training not as spells. Hopefully the idea isn't too convoluted.

Hm, interesting and creative idea there. I like it. I also like the fact that these threads are getting more activity these days...now that we're all done with the holidays. Whew.
Re: For all Mage Roleplayers
Glad you like it. I have to admit I'm not sure what quests I'll be doing though. He would be a good fit as dragonborn but I hate the main quest. Then again with the new dlc pending, maybe I should just do the main quest far enough to activate the dlc and leave Alduin out there causing trouble. I have some fun ideas for the College of Winterhold but no reason for him to go there at moment. Companions could be fun as well but I don't want to get him involved in too many factions.

Re: For all Mage Roleplayers
Right. I hate the MQ and COW, which was cemented when I finished COW the other day with Felina #34.
I don't think it would be a bad idea doing the MQ to activate the dlc part. Although I agree that Sovngarde is the biggest headache ever.
Re: For all Mage Roleplayers
Funny thing is I was planning on joining CoW without doing any of the quests. I figured that the college would be the perfect home for a secret society of mages. Need to level him up for what I have in mind though.

And a crappy night pic of Mavena, my Breton witch.
I'm not very good with .. well, anything, yet. It is adequate in showing what she looks like, I think.

It is dark but from what I can tell Mavena looks quite attractive. Not sure how much you want to get into screenshots but I found that the console command "tfc 1" is great for framing shots. It pauses the game and gives you a free floating camera to control.

Yes, she's a total cutie. Don't worry, Witchery...the photo angles come with time. I also use fov 40 to get a close up, or fov 50-60. Normally, I play the game at fov 70. Using sucsm 1 also allows the camera to move slower so you can get that perfect shot. I am seriously obsessed with taking pictures of Skyrim, which is obvious from my spam postings on the photo thread.
Also, a good photoshop does wonders for making the colors stand out better.
EDIT: Sylmirie is totally looking for adventuring candidates. Its too hard on her daughters to have mom and dad gone. So its time for Sylmirie to find a new adventuring buddy. Not an option are housecarls, since she needs them both at home. She tried Brelyna and J'Zargo but if they die, then Onmund wouldn't join her in the future. Serana is a necromancer and Sylmirie doesn't like necromancers. Anyway...I was considering M'Joll. Its preferable if the follower were female for appropriate's sake. If anyone has suggestions, please do share.
