Khajiit's tail is very stretchy.
I kinda sat there and watched as his tail was pulled out slowly. Fortunately, he stopped at the end of the little hill there. I don't know how long that could have gone on for before my computer crashed. It was being laggy at the time anyway.

I was mining some Heart Stones in Solsthiem, when my follower stood on my back, making the effort even greater, like some sort of military drill sergeant. It was quite a funny sight, seeing my follower bob up and down as I struck the ore with my Ancient Nordic Pickaxe.

In a place, in Solstheim, went to Apocrypha and on return found that one of my dead thralls was missing, but the other was just, er, inactivated. Could not find the missing fellow anywhere, so must assume that he fell through the floor or something similar.
I will need to be more careful preparing next time for a jaunt into Hermaeus Mora's Carnival of Literature.
BTW, swapped out the overly-chatty Reaver Marauder thrall for Rakul, who is [spoilers] "special." Apparently she is so special that she shows up only on Aura Whisper, but not with Detect Dead nor with Detect Living, unlike previous dead thralls. Our squad expects great things from this new recruit.

Re: Post funny, stupid or weird glitches that's happened to
Breezehome is having some creepy glitches these days. So in the back shelf by the kids room, there was this blue bowl that my character put on the table to place cooked meats in. The next time she came home, it was right back to where it had been before. In fact, every time she puts it somewhere else, it reappears in that same damn spot on the shelf. So, she then put it on the floor...same thing.
She sold it to Belethor. The next time she went back home, it was back on the shelf. Its so weird!
Also, Runa is not going to bed now. I think its because the kids had designated beds (?) and Samuel is sleeping in her bed now for some reason. So Felina will send her to bed, but she won't go. And she talks about the orphanage all the time. Sigh.

Gots me a new Reaver Maurader thrall, and he is also chatty. Need to investigate this more. Maybe all the Reavers do this. I do not recall Bandits or Forsworn or Silver Hand dead thralls speaking more than every so often - including saying words to the effect of "stay away with that dangerous spell on you." Irony indeed.NyarlathotepJr wrote:In a place, in Solstheim, went to Apocrypha and on return found that one of my dead thralls was missing, but the other was just, er, inactivated. I've been having trouble with enemies that usually don't aggro on me trying to kill me when I'm not even anywhere near them. Mammoths, giants, and horkers now become aggressive when I'm within like 100 feet of them. It's weird and annoying, and I'd appreciate some help fixing it...

Re: Post funny, stupid or weird glitches that's happened to
Created a new character and put the difficulty to Master. When I get to Riverwood, I complete the misc quest where you get Faendal as a follower. I give him some armor I've looted from dead bodies and go to the Riverwood Trader and start the "Golden Claw" quest. I decide to complete it and go to Bleak Falls Barrow.
While in the second section of the dungeon, I get killed. So naturally I get a little [&@%!]. Then I thought that I could get a drink while the game's reloading the save. So I go and do that. Once I got back, well...
From that moment onward, he's always been like that. And of course I had drink in my mouth when I saw it.

There was this weird hole (portal?) in the floor of Alva's basement that led to an infinite green void, when I tried to throw something into it it would just teleport next to the door, very odd.

Re: Post funny, stupid or weird glitches that's happened to
Mjoll the Lioness, sworn enemy of all thieves and other criminal scum, stole a horse the other day. I have the Mounted Followers mod which, you guessed it, provides your followers with their own horse, but that day I must have got too far ahead of her while leaving Whiterun and she was in a hurry to catch up with me, so when I mounted my horse, she mounted the one from Whiterun stables instead of her own (which was standing a few yards down the road). Apparently my character got no bounty for horse theft, and she swapped back to her regular follower horse at our next stop, but considering her notorious feud with the Thieves Guild I found the incident hilarious.

Not sure if this counts but I've done the quest to find the lost secret of Red Eagle about 5 times now, it just keep activating if I look at the book.

I was attacked by an invisible khajiit today. As in, not due to a potion or spell. I couldn't even see an outline, and I wasn't able to loot him after I killed him. It was definitely weird. Also, annoying as all getup...

Re: Post funny, stupid or weird glitches that's happened to
Not sure how much of this was glitch and how much of this was a mod just doing what it does. Was walking from Whiterun, headed to a bandit's den when I realized that I was consistently being spotted by someone. I turned around and found out that one of my followers stole a horse. I know that Ultimate Followers Overhaul allows followers to ride horses but I didn't think that it prompted them to steal horses. I figure whatever and moved on. A few minutes later we're attacked and my follower dismounts to fight. After this she refuses to follow so I lost her for a little bit until I realized she was missing. Go back and find her standing but nothing I say to her will get her to follow again. Run into her and make her stumble and that seems to do the trick to get her walking again. Five minutes later I hear a scream and turn to find her dead. No enemies in sight, no traps. Have no idea what happened to her.
A couple pics just because I found the situation amusing.

One stupid glitch that I will never get over is that every time I enter my bedroom in Hjerim my Mehrune's Razor is staring at me to never be retrieved again. Forever to be displayed in that cursed dagger display.

Re: Post funny, stupid or weird glitches that's happened to
Not really sure if it's a glitch or what, but it took me three tries to complete the "becoming a werewolf" part of the Companions questline. First time I came out of it, Aela and I were immediately attacked by five werewolf brutes, and I was killed. On my second attempt, we were immediately attacked by a group of afflicted, with the same outcome. Perhaps it wasn't a glitch, but it was certainly annoying to have to redo the whole Underforge scene each time...

Re: Post funny, stupid or weird glitches that's happened to
Today I had the scariest glitch ever happen to me! I started my new character and I was running through the Companions quest and then when you go to clear out the Glenmore Witches...Okay so I know this is silly but the hagravens terrify me. I hate dealing with them. Well I killed my second one, looted it and took the head, then I turned around to see the headless hagraven just standing there. Still dead, as I still had the option to search it and it did not move, but I let out a little shriek when I saw it standing there. I was far from happy.
Additionally I later watched a mammoth drop from the sky.

Re: Post funny, stupid or weird glitches that's happened to
I ran into my first major glitch on Monday! I feel like I've gone through some sort of initiation or something.
It was the one in the Imperial Legion, where Legate Rikke refuses to let you 'report for duty'. I tried a few ways to reset it, and none of them worked. Wiki suggests both that the quistline is broken forever without the console, and that I just need to talk to her enough. Which isn't very helpful.
I didn't try ver hard, though. It was way easier to just wrap it into my roleplay and run off to build houses.
I was considerably more annoyed when I realized the spouse I'd picked wasn't actually an option. I really should have checked on this way sooner.

Re: Post funny, stupid or weird glitches that's happened to
Not me, but my housemate just had Meeko smacked into orbit by a giant at sleeping tree camp, and when he went into the cave Meeko's "dead body" appeared there. He was still alive according to the interact options, and when combat began his corpse was skidding around all over the floor at high speed. I nearly cried.
In a more annoying glitch, on my own save game Belethor either vanished from the game or he got killed without me noticing, because his shop is always locked and when I break in nobody's home. What's weird is I still see his assistant walking about Whiterun with an armful of wood, telling me he works for the man and that I should check out his wares. Would that I could >.<
And on a funny note again, I was in Morthal when suddenly I spied something in the sky... A horse and rider, too far away to identify, frozen in position. They skidded around the sky for a while in seemingly random directions, before disappearing over a hill. It was very odd.

Re: Post funny, stupid or weird glitches that's happened to
God apparently my game simply insists on glitching. First of all, today I got married. My husband was in the living room. I went upstairs, came back down...GONE. I looked in every logical place for him and he was no where so I reloaded and remarried him. Then we get home and my first daughter asks to keep a spider. I tell her no and POOF she's gone. I wait through several game days a couple hours at a time...no daughter. reload again. this time she brings home a fox which i let her keep (oh my god all it does is follow her around and growl i want to kill it but i don't want Lucia to not talk to me.) And then later on I catch her and Runa arguing so I scold them and RUNA DISSAPPEARS BEFORE MY EYES. What have I done to drive me family away?! hahah

I was working in the basement in Lakeview Manor, constructing some new Silver Armor to see what it looked like on a male character, when I noticed something strange about Ruvaak...
His face was stuck in a permanent sideways-glancing look of puzzlement.
Not sure what was causing that, but it corrected itself as soon as I changed cells.

weirdest and creepiest glitch I had was when my horse was wandering off aimlessly.. I followed him for awhile.. he was like a zombie horse. ..very sad.
the wiggly dragon on the ground is pretty fun. Looks like he's having and epileptic fit.
Another odd one was when I killed some Draugh (sp?) in a dungeon.. when I fast traveled right after clearing it to the home near Morthal (sorry name escapes me) there were two dead Draugh wiggling around on the ground near the house. Needless to say, that game got so glitched out that I had to abandon it and start anew.

I've had the wiggly dragon bones on the ground many times, which is quite funny - but while playing today I had the strangest experience with a dragon skeleton ever. Fast travelled to Morthal, and when I arrived I notice this strange thing sticking up out of the ground, it starts moving and rising, and it's a dragon head! Within seconds the entire dragon skeleton rose up out of the ground in front of me, then started it's dragon-wiggle on the road! Pretty weird and surreal...
