... I wish I could get a Perk that let me see enemy stats like 'Living Anatomy' in Fallout: New Vegas. then I would have the peace of mind from knowing what kind of person I'm resurecting.

Dead Thrall limiters
so I power leveled till I got to level 50 (maybe 40) and got the Dead Thrall spell for permanent summons of the highest levels. but when I started throwing it around I found there were a lot of enemies I couldn't use it on as the spell only affects people up to Lv40. I was fairly disappointed that the Daedra I found were (according to the guide) on Lv46 and nameless corpses with names like 'Nord' or 'Dark Elf' and such would only equip clothes, it seems that all Thralls will only equip outfits that they can spawn wearing. Recently I found that Forsworn Briarhearts are classified as Undead so the Necromage Perk would change the level limit from 40 into 50. Guide says Briarhearts cap at Level 51.

If you can't find a decent thrall: find a bunch of dead bodies, equip them with stuff, stack them on eachother, and use the Ritual Stone power. Boom, you now have an army of non-decent thralls instead of one. It works on monsters and animals too.

Re: Dead Thrall limiters
Isn't there a PC mod which makes Dead Thrall summons act like followers so you can equip whatever armor/weapons you want on them?Lotet wrote:so I power leveled till I got to level 50 (maybe 40) and got the Dead Thrall spell for permanent summons of the highest levels. but when I started throwing it around I found there were a lot of enemies I couldn't use it on as the spell only affects people up to Lv40. Re: Dead Thrall limiters
I don't have Skyrim of PC, Steam has given me lots of trouble in the past. I was recently thinking of getting it on the PC as well but since the DLC are supposed to come out a month earlier for the XBox, I think I'll be waiting till the game of the year edition is released.

Re: Dead Thrall limiters
You mean that you get an army for about an hour, right? The Ritual Stone power only lasts that long, AFAIK. Thus any bit of cuteness using it would be fun for a while, but would not allow you to e.g. wander the countryside with your crew of undead Bandits.Argonanza wrote:If you can't find a decent thrall: find a bunch of dead bodies, equip them with stuff, stack them on eachother, and use the Ritual Stone power. Or am I once again missing something important here?

Indeed, NyarlathotepJr, any time you post in thread that hasn't been posted in for three months or more is considered a necropost and is against the Forum Rules. Take a moment to read them so you won't make a mistake like this again.
Going to lock this since it has been dead for so long and the question has been answered.
