Okay about the ebony mine in Raven Rock;
Spoiler:
how the hell did mOre ebony appear in there? I found a sword and proved a conspiracy, that doesn't meant that a god bled out all over the mine replenishing the ebony… unless it does ._.

They all hate you if you report. Or maybe that's just my bad luck.

But anyway, this DLC has been a whirlwind of nostalgia and because of that I've actually attached myself to it! Seeing as they are sticking with DLC's with a Nordic tie, here's hoping for a Bruma/Pale Pass DLC. I could really do with constant nostalgic boots to the face.

The Ebony wasn't discovered so much as it was rediscovered. Remember these sections were sealed when EEC tried to cover up the old crypt underneath. The Ebony was always there just out of reach so to speak until you investigate. As for the Ebony appearing outside the sealed off sections it's a game......don't think too much about it.

I'm really enjoying Neloth. He is appropriately snarky and impatient. First (temporary) companion I've had who didn't feel like a tag along but someone at least close to you in power level. Serana was enjoyable and all, but it's a damn shame I can't take Neloth with me so I can just have him insult my intelligence the entire time. It's hilarious.

I don't remember finding so many dwemer ruins on the first visit in bloodmoon but
Spoiler:
The respend perk points alone is worth it
I also need to find more of these resonator gems. Also it's good they made stalhirim at equal to dragon bone armor. the new shouts are nice.
I would be a procrastinator, but I keep putting it off.

I'm guessing the earthquakes and all the hot ash from Red Year probably unearthed the newer ruins we see on the island this go around. They were always there - we just couldn't access them in Bloodmoon.
Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

Stalhrim might be my new main weapon choice if the bonuses available all work for chaos (which deals all three elemental dmg) then I could use Stalhrim to make super potent absorb/fear/turn effect weapons (which are slightly more useful than bonus dmg on some of my characters).

That doesn't make sense though, because according to the book (forgot what it was called. something like Guardian and Traitor) Vahlok led a final battle against Miraak and attempted to kill him on the spot. It never says anything about a capture or later execution.

Maybe he's called the jailer because since he did lead the battle against Miraak but he was snatched before his death, they might call him the jailer as in forcing Miraak into another dimension.

He doesn't drop a mask and yes he is maskless, but I did check his body about 10 times and looked on the floor just in case.

Yep, he appears to be the first named, maskless dragon priest in Skyrim.

How does Chaos Damage work? On my game it does 104 damage. Is that damage divided or is it 104 damage of each element?

I thought I'd post some dialogue from Teldryn Sero the Mercenary from the Retching Netch.
Most is pretty accurate but I may have omitted a word or added one so. He's got some neat little tidbits.

General:
Spoiler:
If your heading for Skyrim I'd be right behind you. I've spent enough time in Solstheim to last a lifetime.
When in Whiterun: (Idk why but I liked this one but Whiterun is an awesome city!)
Spoiler:
Whiterun....pride of Skyrim. Doesn't look like much to me, now Blacklight.....that's a proper city.
When in Winterhold:
Spoiler:
So this is the famous/fabled College of Winterhold. Amazing.
Seemed like an exaggerated tone but may of been me.
When in Markarth:
Spoiler:
Imagine what Markarth would of looked like when the dwarves were alive. I can't imagine it.
When in Dawnstar:
Spoiler:
The Pale reminds of Northern Solstheim....rife with freezing cold weather and full of unfriendly creatures.
When in Morthal:
Spoiler:
Ugh, what a wretched place. Who would build a town in the middle of a swamp?
When in Falkreath:
Spoiler:
I can't believe how carelessly the dead are buried here. I can't imagine my body just rotting away like that.
When in Windhelm: (My favorite so far)
Spoiler:
I lived in the Gray Quarter of Windhelm for years.....it's a wretched place full of bitter Dunmer. Let's be done here quickly.
When in Riften:
Spoiler:
So this is Riften. Glover Mallory told me a good deal about the place. It's exactly as I pictured.
When in Solitude:
Spoiler:
Solitude....home to the East Empire Company. The heartless [&@%!].

I don't know, the game's name is Skyrim after all. Too much content outside of the province wouldn't really make sense. On the other hand, what other choices do they have?

One thing puzzles me about the dwarven followers. Isn't mentioned somewhere in the vanilla game that when some exited the ruins they just fell apart? Something about being tied to the magic of the ruins or something.

That was Vvardenfell and it's mentioned in a book. It's possible since Dwemer ruins exist in Skyrim as well that the automatons just switch "frequencies" in order to continue to work. I mean its possible.

Solstheim had geographical differences, they could do a similar thing with county Bruma to make it possible to isolate it such as minor, but sharp hills. Or if necessary an invisible wall. But I'm sure Bethesda could come up with something better. Pale pass would be easy to isolate as it already was secluded.

And also, there isn't much else you can add to Skyrim itself, so it'd make sense to branch out. I mean you could keep adding little places like in Dawnguard, but having vast areas like Solstheim is by far superior. Skyrim scenery can get very repetitive when you've played it for so long.

What I like about them putting in Solstheim is that it brings in a sense of connection with Tamriel. I agree with the ^^ comment that stretching out is superior. Its nice knowing what else is going on nearby, since the Dohvakiin has explored all of Skyrim anyway.
