I've done Vahlok's Tomb with Tharstan (The historian) he never had the option to follow me after I finished the related quest.

Frea is a follower.
Retching Netch Merc well he is a merc of course he is a follower.
I have no clue about Master Neloth but I've done a ton of quests for him the most recent being Azra's staffs so it may be possible he is a follower but I doubt it.
If you are talking about quests well yes people follow you during the related quest but they aren't followers (To me anyway) in the normal sense of the word. I'd say they are only temporary followers.

PM me if you really want to know. I don't want to ruin any surprise Beth cooked-up, so just be sure that you actually want to know. It'll probably be known at some point or another, anyhow, but not yet (it seems).

EDIT: Regarding the spoiler I was talking about earlier (sorry for not being clearer)
House of the Wolf wrote:I'm surprised no one's even hinted at the ultimate surprise/spoiler at the very end of the MQ... Image
EDIT-EDIT: Apparently, it was already mentioned in this thread. Either way, if you want to know I'll still tell you.

I'm guessing you're referring to the reward at the end of "Waking Dreams"?

I like the addition of the bound daggers... constant power attacks for basically no stamina loss...

Yep. Not so much of a "spoiler", eh? :P Oh well.

Definitely.

I like that the Skaal clothing has an armor rating to it, and isn't simple an article of clothing.

Yes.

Aside from the rather large quest bugs, I like this better than the base game.

I'll spoiler them just to be safe;
Spoiler:
-Miraak being unkillable
-Constantly receiving damage upon leaving The Sallow Regent
-Not being able to speak with Deor - essentially barring me from Stalhrim
That's all I can remember off the top of my head.

on Miraak
Spoiler:
I didn't experience it when I'd back off and wait for them to return to a more solid state. It was incredibly annoying the first time and I thought it was having to do with basically one-shotting him as he was trying to turn ethereal but it may have been due to my character's position relative to the dragons he was attempting to absorb
Hopefully there are better ways to get around it though.

Anyone tried out the chaos and frost enhancing stalhrim effects, and the new dragon priest masks? I'm wondering if it all adds into the mix like the destruction perks. Like chaos getting benefit from every effect, and then double dipping because of the way dual effect works out and then top it off on a stalhrim weapon. Granted since I was getting 100+ pt enchants before... It's just further overkill... >.> *grabs stalhrim daggers*

Spoiler:
-Never been able to kill Miraak, still.
-I'm not sure why Deor's dialogue is bugged for some people and not others.
-The Sallow Regent is one of the Black Books unrelated to the Main Quest.

50% chance for each element to do ___ amount of damage. You'll find it on the Champion's Cudgel (a new unique hammer) and some sold items. There is also a new unique bow that has a similar affect although it deals with absorption of health, magicka and stamina.

That's the Dwarven Black Bow of Fate.

50% chance to absorb 25 points of Stamina, Health, and/or Magic.

Oh, funny. I've had the champion's cudgel this whole time and didn't even give it a second look. Idk if I want to disenchant it and lose it though... it does look pretty badass. Think I'll look for sold items to disenchant.

I also had a question about a lore inconsistency:
Spoiler:
When doing the main quest, the origin of Miraak is explained. Apparently he was a dragon priest ruling over Solstheim who was corrupted by Hermaeous Mora, and convinced to turn on the dragons. Apparently Vahlok, another dragon priest (known as the "guardian" led the dragons in battle against him. Right as Miraak was about to be killed, HM "snatched him from the earth" (presumably transporting him to Apocrypha). However, during the Vahlok's tomb quest, Vahlok is known as Vahlok the jailer. And the imperial scholar says that the dragon language tells of the guardian being Miraak's jailer. If Miraak was supposedly rescued by HM before he was killed, how could he have a jailer? Kinda didn't make sense to me.

Anyone know if it's better to keep Bujold's secret, or expose her to her crew? Any cost/benefit differences between the two outcomes?
