EDITED POST: Andddd I hate myself right now but I've deleted my Altmer. I thought I liked her but I fancied the idea of a witch much better, and after talking to Hissien, I made one. So I'm back to where I started, when this thread was down to two pages. A witch and a priest. Hooray. (I was going to make her Breton, but I didn't want two of them. The most prolific witch races are Breton and Dunmer, so I went with the latter. Sorry Dov. Sylmirie is a token Altmer again xD) Noooooow I should not switch my characters up any more. >_>
In case anyone's interested. . .
Name: Mehra Dral
Race: Dunmer [ Dark Elf ]
Class: Witch - Sorceress, Mage
Skills: MAIN - Alteration, Conjuration, Destructon (shock), Illusion : : MINOR - Restoration, Alchemy, Sneak
Fun facts:
- She's actually quite soft-spoken, for a Dunmer witch.
- Started out as an alchemist, before reading some tomes and learning a few spells - beginning her thirst for power and interest in the ancient Hagravens (thanks to Hissien for idea :3)
- Favors Conjuration, like any witch should (witches are masters of that school for a reason; read 2920 v9 8D). Alteration is a close second.
- Uses shock Destruction spells primarily. (I couldn't decide between that or frost)
- Eventually will have a bit of a coven with Aranea Ienith, Dravynea the Stoneweaver (not a follower), and Illia (Just RPed as a coven.)
- Worships Lorkhan, Azura, Boethiah and Mephala primarily.
- Hopes to settle in Falkreath. (if we ever get Hearthfire . . ;u;)
- Will train at the College of Winterhold, but only to better herself as a student of Conjuration. She doesn't much care for the mages.
- Very interested in the Hagravens and the Reach
- Wants someday to visit High Rock

You will get Hearthfire, do not worry.
Whatever happened to your first witch? I know she was a Breton but her story was pretty awesome. Anyway, good luck with this little lady...witches are MUCH more your thing.
I approve.

Oh, I stopped playing Skyrim for a while. . . characters got stale when I started it up again. I'll try and make this witch (and the priest) just as awesome as the first one. Thanks! I thought so too. xDDohvakiin2012 wrote:You will get Hearthfire, do not worry.Whatever happened to your first witch? I know she was a Breton but her story was pretty awesome. I had to make a profile to get on here and let you all know that your stories are missed. Seriously, come back... I need something to read at work, lol.

But I had an idea and deleted my warrior and my priest. And made a paladin. And an assassin/alchemist. I'm just trying so hard to find the perfect characters. ;u;

Aww that is so sweet. Well, I can only speak for myself and say that I am currently uninspired to write for this thread but maybe that will change with the dlc.Hrolf Alfblod wrote:I had to make a profile to get on here and let you all know that your stories are missed. That's unfortunate, but understandable. Hopefully the inspiration will take ahold of you soon.

CRIPES!
Hey guys! ; w;
So terribly sorry I fell RIGHT OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH ; w; How's everyone been doing since I disappeared? Been torn between work/life and all those wonderful things that come in between ;D
I do think I've a spot of bad news though;-- I don't think I could continue Alrek's story. At least, not at this point of time, anyway. I feel like my writing's improved tenfold, and I've developed him a lot better ♥ So I'm thinking of rewriting his adventures, since I've got a better sense of who he is and where he'll end up <3

^^ Memai, that's wonderful! I encourage you to write whatever inspires you...but if you want to rewrite his tale because you "feel" him better, then awesome. I think we've all got sorts of things going on...with the holidays and all.
I actually have a really interesting story prep for the Dragonborn dlc I have been marinating on. Anyway, I'm sure these threads will get some playtime soon.

Re: For all Mage Roleplayers
Oh by no means am I taking a break from writing Alrek ; w; He's one of my most developed characters thus far, and I'd hate to abandon the must so soon ; w; But I managed to develop him so much better through roleplaying, finishing his playthrough, doing writing prompts, etc. That when I look back at my story and look at him as a character, there's a marked difference. Which is good, for development, not so good on the fact that I've already banged out so much regarding him.
But yeah, the closing of the semester and getting ready for the holidays, meeting family, etc. I'm surprised I even managed to find the time to write you guys ; A;
I guess watch this space? Dragonborn is coming soon for the PC, so I could probably do something with my creepy Alesha boo then. WOO~

Re: For all Mage Roleplayers
I figured I wouldn't be posting in this thread for a while but my mind can't seem to say put in one place recently. I previously had an idea for an NPC that would be strong with magic but had no inclination to cast spells. I liked the idea but for a time I had no idea what I would do with it since I now have no desire to write Faust's character any further, rendering the NPC moot. Then I stumbled upon this mod and inspiration struck.
At the moment I'm unsure he should wear outfit one or outfit two or maybe just monk's robes
This mod may just make me a fan of playing in third person
More to come as thoughts settle

Re: For all Mage Roleplayers
Is that some sort of Kung Fu mod? I'll say this: doing plotlines when it comes to fanfic is just not working for me either. I prefer writing a story about whatever here and there, as my mind can wrap around that much better. Not like I'm writing books or anything. PS: Outfit two is nicer.
Ha, actually, I played around with some armor on Sylmirie today. Not that she'll wear any ever. I got a kick out of this one:

Re: For all Mage Roleplayers
A mod that lets you play unarmed? Very cool! Not that I'm much for that.
I prefer my spells or my swords.
I'm thinking of getting the PC version of Skyrim, so maybe that will renew my ability to write short stories on my mage. (I just got Oblivion for PC and it runs nearly flawlessly, something I was extremely surprised to find on my laptop. Skyrim is worth a try, right? It is on sale.)
Anyway, I hope you both decide to write some about your mages. I've missed Sylmirie and it will be interesting to see this new monk you have, Psto!

Re: For all Mage Roleplayers
^^ You should definitely get it for PC, especially if its on sale.
It will change your gaming life.
I've missed Sylmirie, too. That smart-mouthed elf. I've decided to change her age as far as roleplay goes. Originally, she was 90 years old, which meant that she was well into having been magickally involved for a while. However, that's kind of made me push her leveling up too fast. I'm still thinking of the age, but something much younger suits her better so she has time to come into her skill.

Well, she is an elf. I assume High elves are the longest lived race naturally, so 90 is stillfairly early in her life.

Re: For all Mage Roleplayers
I got PC Skyrim (couldn't wait!) and made my new character: a remake of my PS3 character, Mavena, a Breton witch, who started out a Forsworn. (Alternate Start mod hooray!) I may post a screenshot of her soon.
Re: For all Mage Roleplayers
It's a mod that levels up unarmed damage and unarmored protection just like other skills and yeah it looks like there's some kung fu inspiration in the perks. From my goofing around so far it's pretty fun. I'm having a bit of a time adjusting to the decreased range of attack though.
Congratulations on the new purchase, Witchery. I've been a strong advocate for Skyrim on PC. I look forward to seeing some screenshots from you.
Dohvakiin, Sylmirie wears that armor well. It would be fun it you could come up with some sort of a reason to leave her in it for a day or two.

Re: For all Mage Roleplayers
Its not really her style, Sylmirie is reserved. But perhaps Onmund hides her mage robes like a good lusty husband.
Witchery, I can't wait to see your screenshots! Its such a new level of involvement.
Hooray for you!

Re: For all Mage Roleplayers
Haha, that would be funny and it would encourage her not to leave the house. Which could be good or not.
Also I'm not sure why but I have the feeling that the new guy is someone who likes to show some skin.
Apparently he's also the type that blinks during screenshots.

Re: For all Mage Roleplayers
He's very handsome. Besides unarmed combat, what else are you thinking of doing with him?
Guys, my elf has turned into a regular housewife. Found myself wondering why she doesn't have any quests and its because she doesn't talk to anyone. Too busy working on her trophy room and feeding her girls. She needs to get out and explore but feels slightly guilty leaving those darlings at home with Lydia and Rayya.
PS: ^^ Here ya go, p-sto. She doesn't leave the house anyway!
