Skyrim Moments You Just Have to Share!
Re: Moments that make you feel like a badass
At the beginning of Skyrim, I used console commands to jump out of the prisoners' cart and freed myself of bounds. I still went to the execution willingly because I knew no mortal weapon could harm this amount of badassery. Later Alduin arrived so I deleted him from the game. The headsman proceeded with the beheading but instead of becoming decapitated, his axe missed entirely because I transformed him into a child Breton. I rose back to my feet, and in a single instant killed everyone except General Tullius, because I needed a reliable witness to my badassery. Then I teleported to Windhelm, transformed all of the soldiers there into little children, went to Solitude and did the same. I then told them all to go home because they were little children. Ended the Civil War and saved Skyrim by being a badass. You're welcome, Tamriel.

Someone has a lot of fun with the console commands...
Another fun moment is whenever I successfully shield bash a sabre-cat, it's just so satisfying after all the times I've been hit by them...

Another of my many bouts of badassery would be the time I played through the entire Main Campaign without removing my Iron Helmet. As you may imagine, this caused a bit of an upstir in the Diplomatic Immunity quest where Delphine told me, "You can't go to a party looking like that!".
I promptly replied, "[&@%!] please. You misunderstand your authority. I AM DOVAHKIIN! DRAGONBOOOOORRNNNN!!!"

Rarely, when it goes into the killcam and I see my crossbow bolt flying and it kills my target, serana casts an ice spike right after my bolt hits and the body goes flying 20 feet. Badass teamwork right there.
Or any time I'm fighting a dragon with Through the Fire and Flames playing.

I was attacking a bandit camp, in a snowstorm, from a long ways away, I had no idea where they were so I just casually shot an arrow in their random direction, I see "SNEAK ATTACK 2.0x!", go look at their body, it was right in between the eyes...EFF YEH

Hunting elk on the plains of Whiterun, have spent all your stamina to catch your last sight of the elk going over the horizon, fire one last arrow an eighth of a mile away only to land without zoom. Nothing like tagging a deer on your last possible shot.

Re: Post Your Skyrim Short Stories Here
Calcelmo is stalking my Dead is Dead character. Whenever Smells-Like-Fish buys a dwarven arrow from a merchant, it takes 2 minutes and BAM: a random courier runs up to him and handles a letter. From Cancelmo. In these letters he always tells, in amazing detail, how he knows that SLF has acquired a certain arrow from [insert location name] and would like to see it. When SLF got the letter for the first time he happily provided. The second time he was a bit surprised since he had just stepped out from the gates of Markarth and then there was a courier with a new letter. Still, greedy for the extra coin, he decided to provide once again. Third time however he became reeaally suspicious. It was night, he had just told to that creepy dude who keeps stopping him that "No, for the last time, I didn't see anyone go into that house and nor do I care." when he heard a noise behind him. He slowly turned around and BAM: a courier. Wearing only his underwear. Proclaiming that he had a letter from Calcelmo, your hands only. By now Smells-Like-Fish is sure Calcelmo is just using those arrows as an excuse and wants to see something else. Meaning his scaly fish smelling presence. I mean... how many arrows does he need for "his research".
Just look at that sneaky old Altmer. Giving him a look like that:
Later Smells-Like-Fish decided to head up to Solitude and avoid dwarven items for a while. However, he got sidetracked, managed to get into trouble and got throw into Cidhna Mine. He was feeling very bitter towards the nords (for this and some other unpleasant encounters) and decided to want to side with Madanach in order to escape. However at first he had to get past the tough looking orc guard and challenged him to a fist fight. Right at that moment all the other prisoners took their cue to run over and rub themselves against him. (Really.) It ended up with him punching a wrong person and all hell breaking loose. Few bruises and knocked out teeth later SLF managed to get them to understand it was all a mistake. He then decided to go and try to take a nap and resume the fight later. (I was actually so annoyed that I loaded a save. Could be considered cheating since this is a DiD character but it totally wasn't my fault. I don't know what their AI was thinking, they just suddenly took a dive in front of his fists.) When the very [&@%!] off and dead tired SLF along his new forsworn buddies finally managed to get out of the jail it was already night. All hell broke out in the city but for some reason the guards decided he was not worthy of a fight and kept ignoring him. SLF was glad to leave all the others to do the fighting, grab some mead and... maybe go crying his [&@%!] day to Calcelmo.
Just look at that sneaky old Altmer. Giving him a look like that:

Re: Moments that make you feel like a badass
This is an extremely awesome, if a little exaggerated, telling of what I just did in Skyrim. My character is a Breton named Jean of Skingrad and is a Vampire. (Go figure.)
I slowly entered into Red Eagle's lair, Dawnbreaker in one hand a Blades shield in the other, my trusty flame atronach right behind me. I walked in and several skeletons scattered across the room came to life and their leader, Red Eagle, crept from his ancient sarcophagus. "Fo, Krah Diin!" he yells.
"Tiid!" is my response as I dodge the frost and run to one of the skeletons and dispatch it in a single swing, it causing the rest of the skeletons in the room to turn and run, my flame atronach loyally torching each one. It had now come down to the brave Jean of Skingrad vs Red Eagle, my atronach already out of time. We were on very even terms, we were both undead and had weapons that would burn the other with each hit.
"Zun, Haal Viik!" the undead creature cried.
I yelled my counter. "Tiid," dodged the potentially fatal shout. After getting behind him and giving him some truly powerful blows and a power bash right as time returned to normal, he started to kneel, his draugr voice almost begging for mercy. I shot him in the head with my Dwarven Bow of Soul Snares and the legend of Red Eagle came to an end. "Only one Breton can control the Reach," I say as I claim Red Eagle's Bane and head to Rorikstead to rest after this great fight.
His soul is now used as a fire enchantment on my Ebony War Axe.
The End.

When I realized my custom crafted and enchanted dagger could make even the mighty greybeards (and every undead I can run into) flee in terror.

Wading into a necromancer/conjurer lair on my 'sword n board' tank, absorbing their spells and shrugging off anything left; usually getting spectacular decapitation killcams with my waraxe amidst the summoned/risen turning to dust in my presence

Re: Moments that make you feel like a badass
Lost Valley Redoubt: my assassin was fighting a Briar Heart. She is still learning skills, so he was tough for her. After a bitter game of "cat and mouse", she closed in on him and used her "ice form" shout. He froze, so she placed a fire rune underneath him and then did a power attack with her poisoned sword (paralysis poison). The final blow was a kill cam of her kneeling down and using both hands to shove the sword into him.
It was so brutal...but someone had to win that fight and by Sithis it had to be her!

Although I'm not the one being the badass in this case, I love it when I'm swimming and being pursued by Slaughterfish, while Annekke snipes them from shore at a distance of 40 yards or more. It's kind of a team badass moment.

Moments that make you feel like a dumba$$
A parody to "Moments that make you feel like a badass" -> http://forums.uesp.net/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=34116 by Jet.
My favorite one for me... I just finished using my last healing potions and arrows fighting a Giant on a bounty. This left me with a steel dagger that I always carry but never use. When I was walking back I got attacked by wolves that I narrowly fought off, waded through a pool and got killed by 2 large mudcrabs.

Man, I thought I couldn't get any more badass, but then I hitched a ride on a legendary dragon and was throwing incineration blasts at everything unlucky to be a red dot on my compass. The only thing I could think of at the moment that could top that is if I could bail off my dragon in the air and land on another dragon below me and give it a new hole to breathe out of with my Chillrend.

Re: Skyrim Moments You Just Have to Share!
A few weeks/months back i was doing a bounty quest. I sweeped through the bandits and finally came face to face with the leader. We duelled and instead of beheading him, i headbutted him to death. That is badass although i suspect Thorlof Icefury has a headache most of the time as that seems to be his favorite way of killing anyone that tries to kill him.
I remeber when i had an altmer mage get surronded by Draugr Deathlords in a ruin. It was his last stand and i think he went out in a blaze of glory, literally. May have been a Dragonborn.

Quite often it's the combination of your real world situation combined with your gaming that makes the experience more than it would have been otherwise.
The other night, after coming home from a dinner engagement, I found myself in front of the big screen with a tumbler of scotch, playing Skyrim in a trim black suit and crisp white shirt, looking like John Reese from Person of Interest. Stealthily and quietly working through a Draugr dungeon with Nina Simone belting out "Sinner Man" in the background, the experience was more than the mere sum of its parts.

I have the warzones mod installed, so I'm regularly coming across battles between Stormcloaks and Imperials on the road. Well, some Stormcloaks decided to attack while I was in Dragon Bridge, and I'm siding with the Imperials in this playthrough, so I figured I'd give them a hand. One of the Stormcloaks two-shotted me with his stupid iron warhammer and sent me ragdolling across the map. This is on apprentice difficulty, mind you. And I have nearly 400 health and about 300 armor when I'm fully buffed (my assassin doesn't wear actual armor). So naturally, I was like "WTF?"

Re: Skyrim Moments You Just Have to Share!
My sole remaining goal with Kjell was to level him up enough (Xbox) to meet a Legendary Dragon. I have been working on this for most of the month (I have a life ...).
Last night I was shutting down when, of course, a dragon appears over Raven Rock. Rather than take it out, Kjell (L78) tried his new toy Bend Will, just hoping to get into his house more quickly. On a lark, he jumped on that dragon, and discovered that this was, in fact, a Legendary Dragon! Woot indeed. He had seen that shout fail with wimpier dragons, and now he was riding an ultimate dragon.
I game saved in the air, flew around a bit, reloaded, and killed him for the achievement. After some 570 hours with that character, we may be done for now.

So I accidentally invoked Serana as a follower while having Onmund and Meeko already along. Felina Imhatius was headed to Labyrinthian so I thought...why not have them all go? It can be one huge "COW saving" party. Totally against the grain of what she traditionally does, but whatever. They rocked that [&@%!]. It was so much fun. And of course, Onmund got preferential treatment and received all the good things that Felina found. She even summoned her DB ghost buddy to join in on the fight.
The climax: Onmund, Meeko and Lucien Lechance cornered Morokei in a corner of the room. Morokei...this big bad ass Dragon Priest, yelps and bails it out of the room and into the hallway. He had to be chased down, where Meeko eventually chomped him to death.
