Prior Maborel's Paint Horse

Post by Weaves »

Hello,

I just came out of Haynote cave with some good loot. (I am level 24 assassin). However, I discovered that Prior Maborel's horse is dead. I know I can reload an earlier game. However, my question is this:

Do I really lose anything with this horse dead? I have about 20,000 gold, so that's enough to buy more horses. Do I just buy more horses if my current one dies?

Thanks

Just buy another horse. I recommend getting one in Cheydinhal, they have the fastest horses. And they come in a stylish shiny black-purple color. :D

You can just buy another horse, or do the db questline.

Don't worry you definitely have enough to purchase a new horse...or you could go through the Dark Brotherhood quests in which you will eventually recieve Shadowmere, the best horse in my opinion.

You could buy a new horse with the hefty pile of gold in your pocket, but if it was me I'd reload. I feel it is my duty to look after Maborel's horse after his untimely demise.

Easily the coolest horse in the game. 8)

Shadowmere is great...I've seen it whack bandits to death. And of course, it's fast....

Plus, it's "essential", so it won't die.

If you really feel you need a horse, just buy another one. As mentioned, Cheydinhall sells Black ones, the fastest in the game.

I think he would like to have a horse while doing all of those quests ;)

I like what "Doctor Meaticus" said, i reloaded when a troll killed him ><

Since you probably got some good random loot, and you dont wanna chance it by reloading, i would say just get another horse.

Yep, I bought a black horse the moment I could afford to upgrade...

Tip: Use fast travel to a city, let it stable your horse, and then explore on foot as you go back out of the gates. That way, you never risk losing your horse. If you want to ride a little bit anyhow, it's cool, but if you then FT back to a town, you won't have to worry about it running off or getting killed. Sometimes, if the horse runs off, FT to a town will bring it back.

Yes. However, it is wise to buy a strong horse, bless it at a way shrine and go like you're on skooma!

When you are on a horse, click on the wayshrine and it should get the blessing.
Also if you were to move up the page you would see the page is on actually Horses, the spells section is a sub-section  .
Anyway Ive fixed it now.
