I really can't make up my mind.
It is really hard if you pull the difficulty bar all to the right (enemies deal damagex6 and you deal damage for 1/6...
So tell me what do you think of theese ideas.
Breton
mage
resistence+luck(this is the only way to have a +5 on luck)
Equip (very important)
mundane ring (so he's immune to magic)
Etsucheon of chorrol(if you don't have at least 50% reflect damage you're going nowhere)
ring of the iron fist
Amulet of the necromancer
A piece of armor with good attributes to compensate the amulet's malus.
All other pieces of armor enchanted with sigil stones(+50 magicka)
Main skills
blade
destruction
heavy armor
conjuration
I'm sure about those, not really about the others, I really need to complete the main SI number8 quest to enable reflect damage at the spell making altar and see how it works.
this way he has 658 magicka with a great defence.
I'm not very sure about the iron fist ring and the necromancer's amulet.
Thx for your posts.

Summoning armor is a conjuration skill. Alteration cannot take you above the armor cap, so if you're already using high-quality heavy armor there's not much defensive use for it.MyDireLife wrote:I would definatly pick alteration as a major skill, That way you can make a custom spell that summons your deadric armor, and Shield maybe 25 points at the same time
Restoration is an excellent major. Since it levels so slow, I recommend it as a major for almost all characters. If you're playing at max difficulty, you will definitely appreciate this one, at least until your get your end-game gear.
Blade skill seems useless for your character. Your physical strikes will do only 1/6 damage, which is pathetic. Also, blade would force you to get closer to most enemies than I would advise, if you can avoid it. If you're going to be using an enchanted blade, your blade skill won't increase the damage done by the enchantment, anyway.
You will want to use conjuration to summon a meat shield (to keep enemies off of you) and then use destruction spells--a mix of weakness to magicka and damage spells--to bring down your foes quickly. Even before you get all your fancy gear, as a mage you will have the power to destroy enemies far stronger than you. Also, summons have the advantage of being as tough as your enemies, no matter what difficulty you play at.
Armorer is a good major to get if you're using heavy armor. Repairing your armor above 100% is very nice, and also helps prevent breakages in the middle of battle.
As to the other major skills you should pick, if I were you, I'd get skills that I would use rarely or never. This will prevent you from leveling too fast, which could be a real problem if you're fighting monsters that are much too tough for you.
