I've been using this mod for a while, and one of its features is the opportunity to become a werewolf before starting the main Bloodmoon quest. It works similarly to the unmodded game, in that you just have to find a werewolf NPC, get into a fight, and get infected with Sanies Lupines. The mod adds more of these werewolf NPCs, so it's easier to find them on the mainland.
During my last playthrough, this is exactly what I did. I got infected, not via the script in the main Bloodmoon quest, but in a fight with a werewolf. Naturally, I decided to keep it and become a werewolf. Unfortunately, once I did get to the main Bloodmoon quest, something strange occurred. I was able to initiate the Skaal Test of Loyalty quest by talking to Tharsten Heart-Fang, but when I tried talking to Korst Wind-Eye, he knew I was a werewolf and cut me off from the rest of the quests. Immediately upon exiting his home, the village was under attack by Hircine's werewolves, same as if I'd just finished the Skaal Test of Strength and had spoken to Tharsten. I fended them off and then took out the two inside the great hall, however none of the other quest scripts kicked in.
Therefore, I was pretty much stuck at that point in the main quest. While I didn't mind being kicked out of the Skaal village, since I was planning on staying a werewolf anyway, I never got the dream from Hircine that would initiate that side of the quest. I used the console to start the Dream of Hircine quest, but after completing it, I still didn't get any dream from Hircine. I had already completed most of the quests in the main game and Tribunal, so I wasn't missing much, but I was still counting on getting Hircine's Ring and the Spear of the Hunter.
So my question is, is it still possible to complete the main Bloodmoon quest as a werewolf if you got infected prior to the Siege of the Skaal Village? Also, if you cure yourself with the Rite of the Wolfgiver quest, is it still possible to get infected with Sanies Lupines via the script during the siege event?

Question about the Werewolf Realism mod
One thing I never understood about Alchemy is how you're supposed to chew diamonds, unless you're Kanye West.

Re: Question about the Werewolf Realism mod
Okay, I think I figured out what happened.
After first meeting with Tharsten, I spoke with the raven at the Altar of Thrond and said I would like to cure my lycanthropy. They teleported me to the Gloomy Cave, but the hollowed icicle containing the Scroll of Wolf Ender was disabled, same as if I were in the middle of doing Hircine's quests.
So I reloaded and spoke to the raven before visiting the Skaal. This time the hollowed icicle was accessible. From here, there are two possibilities:
1) If you use the scroll right away, you're cured and can proceed with the main Bloodmoon quest as normal. You can still get infected with Sanies Lupinus during the Siege of the Skaal Village. However, because the cure immunizes you from lycanthropy, the disease will not turn you into a werewolf again, no matter how long you wait. So the game continues as if you'd sided with the Skaal.
2) If you have the scroll in your possession when Tharsten sends you to speak with Korst, the latter rejects you (as happened in my last game) and then the Siege of the Skaal Village immediately kicks in. At this point, if you attempt to read the scroll, an interesting thing happens. You get a message saying: As you read the scroll, you hear your Master's voice whisper in your ear, "Not yet, my hound." In other words, Hircine prevents the scroll from curing your lycanthropy.
At this point, you're now officially on Hircine's side, although with the "Moon Only" version of the Werewolf Realism mod, you have to wait a whole month for the next full moon, and THEN you get the dream from Hircine giving you the quest to guard the totem. Edit: The "Moon Only" version of the mod is supposed to be set up so that at this point of the Solstheim main quest, you don't have to wait for the full moon to change, to prevent the quests from dragging out for several months. However, doing it the way I described above leads to a glitch, where you have to wait a whole month to get the next dream from Hircine. It also skips all of the Skaal quests, and thus prevents you from getting the rewards.
I suspect that the sequence of events I described above happens the same way even in the unmodded version of the game. If you have the mod though, and become a werewolf prior to the main Bloodmoon quest, it forces you to wait a month between each stage of the quest. So I hope this helps anyone else who prefers to play as a werewolf.
