Get at least a mortar & pestle, then open your inventory and click on the mortar & pestle.

Make sure that you have some ingredients available, and if you are still a novice, make sure that you have two diff ingredients with the same effect.

didnt u do the tutorial? on the crate, behind the sneak goblin. pick mortar and pestle up: all will be explained.
A single dedicated mind can cause about the greatest destruction. That, or goblins, goblins work too.
