Tainted magic?

Could someone describe to me what it does please? But simple so any idiot could understand it.

I haven't heard of this before. There's an effect called stunted magicka which prevents your magicka from regenerating--could this be what you're talking about?

"Tainted magic" is an exploit where you use Weakness To Magicka on yourself to allow yourself to cast crazy powerful spells.

Basically, since Weakness To Magicka multiplies the amount of effect any spell has on you, you can repeat the spell and stack the effect to get 500% Weakness to Magicka. Then you can cast any normal spell (like restore health or water walking) and it will be 5 times as powerful.

You can also use it to stack Fortify Magicka spells so you can cast spells that cost 10,000 magicka. With the 500% weakness, it'd make the fortify magicka much much more potent.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work on the PS3 GOTY version.
