Percival held a hand up, palm forward. "Don't attack. This can be resolved without bloodshed." He looked at the bandits. "I say again. Do not attack." A bandit screamed a war cry and flew at him, sword held with both hands. In mid-flight he was sliced in half by a sharp tendril of shadow. "Do not attack."

A bandit stepped forward. "Elves, dwarves, humans... a halfelf. What is your business in our pass?" He was clearly the chief.

Leniel laughed, "The clothing sort of gives us away, doesn't it? You want something off me, come take it, thief." Leniel agreed with the half-elf, "Fear the shadows, bandits."

The bandit Belli tried to rend was torn into two parts. The chief looked over in shock and then roared, drawing his battleaxe. He swung at Percival, who met it with a blade of pure shadow. They broke the block and Percival beheaded the chief. The sword disappeared and a fist of shadow punched straight into a group of bandits, instantly breaking bones and killing many.

The bandit Furin charged was distracted by the gore around him, sow as easily cut down by a bad case of Sasha to the neck. He crumpled to the floor and the dwarf quickly stepped over him, engaging another (focused) bandito.

Belli pushed another bandit, sending him into the wall and breaking his bones, he rendered another asunder, soon he pulled a dagger out and held it infront of him, he aimed and pushed the dagger into a bandit's neck, it nearly came out the other side.

Glor sprang into action, drawing his hammer and shield and gripping the pony with his knees. He swung the hammer and it connected with a head, and the skull caved in. Brains and blood fell everywhere, but Glor was already swinging again. His hammer connected with another bandit's nose, and the bandit collapsed. He caught a third in the throat, who gagged and then had his sternum smashed by the hammer. Glor found himself laughing.

Shadows ripped out of the ground in a group of bandits, who were impaled upon them. The tips of the the shadow-spikes were just showing through the tops of their heads, and Percival sent a wave of shadow rolling into a group that tried to charge him. They were thrown back and then crushed into the ground.

Nalfein caused a few o the weak willed brutes to kill their companions. But he did not keep this up because it was far too draining to rend the will of others for long battles. He began pullin at the bandits' insides and killing them that way. He killed a few until he was grazed by an arrow. He sent a stone flying into the man's head. He was draining his will very quickly but could go on for quite a while yet.

As quickly as the bandits had come at them, they were done. The few remaining were running. Everyone had a few scratches, but there were no major injuries. Percival mounted. "Leave the bodies. Let's go."

"Awww, they're all dead already." Furin stated sadly and kicked on of the dead band it's head, a satisfying sound of bone cracking emitting from the kick as the dwarf's metal boots impacted he head. He turns to hi companions and continued. "Next time, I swear I'll kill more. I bet my honour on that." With everything said, he went over to his pony and struggled to get on; finally succeeding on his fourth try.

"That went rather well! " Nalfein said pleased with the work that had been done.

They Remounted and pressed forward, they continued for an hour or so until they came upon the remains of What looked like a merchant caravan. There were bodies and pats of bodies strewn about, there was no plunder that was taken and Leniel could see that there was gold inside of a pouch on the wagon.

Furin looked around the scene, almost drooling at the blood. It was moments like these where his psychopathic ways seeped through the thick shell that was his usual self. "Where are the me responsible. I wanna kill some more people."

The bodies were chewed and gold and finerys were in plain sight. It was not men who did this.

"Some kind of beast did this.... Do you see any tracks?" Nalfein asked

There was a few large foot prints in the mud.
