The UESP User Survey

Post by Musicman247 »

Throughout the month of November we will be running the UESP User Survey to gather feedback on what you like, and don't like, about the site. There are prizes to be had for completing the survey, but not only that, you get to have a voice with regards to the future of the site!

So click on through to the UESP User Survey and let Dave know how we're doing!

Inorite? I think the grand prize should be a return plane-ticket from NZ to South Africa, to somewhere in the US.

Bloody hope I get the grand prize or second place. My copy of Skyrim is dead! ...There are no age restrictions, right? Don't have to be 18 or older, or anything? Hell, I'm turning 18 in 9 days, so hopefully, that wouldn't exclude me.

'Would you attend a convention if it was held in your state/province?'

I can see it now: the great Hertfordshire UESP meet. All of the four people here who have played Skyrim could attend.

Hehe. I marked down that I would be more likely to attend internationally than nationally.

I mean, if the convention's in Buffalo, I can go there. If it's in Vancouver...

I marked all as the top- I'd drag myself over broken glass and then swim through vinegar to go to this convention and meet you guys.

Well... if I could swim anyway.

UESP convention here... Oh wait. This is it, really. It'd just be me.

I had to mark a big fat "no" to an international convention. Because a certain spouse of mine would not think that I'm amusing if I buy an international plane ticket just to meet you guys.

Am I the only one that posted that I didn't have any desire for a convention or meetup? I said that if there was one in my town, chances are I'd attend, but otherwise I said no.

I laugh at the idea of a UESP convention here. Boston, maybe, but not in THIS town. I'm not sure there's a building anywhere near big enough, for one thing.

Probably not, but that's the beauty of things like this: people can do what they want and not do what they aren't interested in. Even with the forum: you can talk about Skyrim if you want, Morrowind if you want, just mods, go and do the general banter stuff, post stories, roleplay, whatever - and ignore what you aren't interested in. Nice, ain't it? ;)

I'd go to a convention if it were realistically possible. It'd probably be in North America though, and that's kinda far away.

Same here. The only places in my entire state that would possibly have a convention are Madison and Milwaukee, and those are 3+ hours away, just too far, too much cost and effort. Plus of course it's Madison and Milwaukee - I'm not fond of big cities, don't feel comfortable or safe in them. If it were in my town, or under an hour away, then I'd go, but there'd be absolutely no reason to have a convention in the middle of nowhere in WI. xD

Anyway, those are some nice-looking prizes. If I win, I hope I get either the collector's edition, or one of the expansions.
The official game guide would be a good prize too; too bad that's not one. I just saw it in the store today and took a good look at it for the first time. Can't believe how thick it is!

I put comments for almost every question, most of them drawing attention to the fact that if it weren't for the forums I wouldn't be half as into TES as I am now, and I wouldn't be looking forward to TES:O either, since I wouldn't know anybody who would be playing.
