Maximum level Help/Advice

Post by Mjolnir »

I'm currently at level 25 doing 5/5/1 leveling, but i'm trying to decide how I want to try to max out my attributes. I figure that you stop leveling when youve maxed out either your attributes or major skills, but I have a few questions:

can you continue to level with only one or two attributes not maxed out?
when you max out attributes, is there anything preventing you from maxing out your remaining major skills?

I'm also kind of worried that maxing everything out, making me level 46 or above, will make things tedious, since leveled lists seem to stop at 30. are there any item-related bonuses for leveling past 30, and how much harder do enemies get from 30 to 50, particularly in relation to how much benefit you get from attributes and health increase?

As far as i have heard, you stop leveling when ALL of your major skills are maxed.

I would just wing it tho. Becuase what are you going to do after you max everything out?

My favorite part about this game is that its not the destination thats the most fun, its the journey ;)

Nothing will hold your majors back after attributes are maxed, but you have a good question about if you can still leel with only 1 or 2 attributes because you have to choose 3 to continue, I assume it will work fine though. What race did you choose?

Your going to be fine, don't worry about it. Have you already done everything in Oblivion on another acc yet? Because if you haven't you may want to instead of 5-5-1ing because you can very easily become (I cant think of that word so if someon knows which one I am thinking of) "bored."

You don't need to choose 3 attributes to continue levelling. I've been levelling for 3 or 4 levels now with only luck not at 100, and it still lets me level. You only stop levelling when your major skills are all at 100.
I'll try to help if I can.

Elder Scrolls Games owned/played:

Morrowind for XBox
Oblivion for both PC and PS3
All add-ons for PC

Just obtained Arena and Daggerfall.

I don't think you have to worry about the mundane. I used cheats for my second game to spice things up and made ALL my attributes and skillls as high as they could go and it was still pretty fun, though I still got killed several times for neglecting healing.
