What is your favorite weapon by any means?

What is your favorite weapon in Oblivion? Is yours powerful? Cool looking? or a bit of both? Or for some reason is there a weapon that has sentimental value?

My favorite weapon in Oblivion I must say is the club. It is wooden and has metal spikes on it, but for some reason I am fond of it.

I like all the variations on the different type of maces.

How come they made the maces look they would hurt the most?

Good question. Id say either the classic choice, steel mace, a bit more flashy choice, elven shortsword, or a steel shortsword.

Some of the staves look cool too.

I normally prefer longswords. I either use a daedric longsword with a 40 damage fire enchantment or Goldbrand. For a bow I prefer the Daedric Longbow with some enchantments.

For my bow I have a nice Daedric Bow Enchanted with Drain health and soul trap. I switch off with the arrow of immolation, arrow of savage frost, and arrow of storm strike. Which I duplicate when they get a little low.

For my swords I have Umbra, Shortsword of the Dynamo, and a Daedric Longsword that I have yet to enchant.

Volendrung is by far the coolest weapon in the game. Elven shortsword is perhaps the second best in the way of appearance. Debaser is also a favourite of mine, looking cool and being quite powerful at later levels.

Knowledge is the only weapon I need.

That, and laser-beam eyes.

Barring that, I like taking Black Brugo's own bow and enchanting it to make it my own.

Ancient Akaviri katanas from Sancre Tor are better than the general-issue weapons given to you at Cloud Ruler Temple, but Goldbrand beats all other steel bananas.

Katanas. Just katanas. Nobody could convince me NOT to have at least one of them on any character. But for my "ideal" character I've collected one of every type, and my favorite is the Ebony Blade. I really love that one. Second to that is Goldbrand. I'd like it more... but it's gold... I'd rather have a "Whitebrand" or "Silverbrand" or even a "Blackbrand", though I must say... I wish the Ebony Blade was actually... ebony....

(and yes, the order of alternate colors to gold with Goldbrand are in the order I'd rather see them)

I just love my Daedric Dagger, I usually use a longsword, but I haven't found one of those yet (damn hammers everywhere).

Only just finished my training, so haven't done much questing yet for levelled and powerful weapons.

Had it since the beginning (killed her early on after a bit of planning), and still carry it as a primary weapon...

Ahh, brings back great memories of my second character. A male orc with no weapons and heavy armor. Beating down bandits with my bare hands was the most fun an orc could have. But my fave weapon is an ancient akaviri katana (yay dark spark!). It just makes you feel cooler using that than a normal akaviri katana.

Volendrung since it has paralyze and i can beat my helpless enemies into a pile of blood and broken bones and they cant evenn move mhuhahahahaha

ehherm after Volendrung my favorite weapon is Duskfang/Dawnfang because it makes me kill more and more and the more I kill the stronger it becomes

i like the dwarven weapons, the battle axe and mace in particular

just enchanted both

dwarven warlord axe -
damage health 20 points
fire damage 15 points (i think)
fortify athletics 15 points
fortify blunt 10 points

same for mace

also love my glass battle axe - nexus
enchanted also, similar to above
