5: Arena = 5.7 (it was hard as hell)
4: Daggerfall = 6.1 (it was weird and very crowded but nice)
3: Skyrim = 9.7 (the gameplay an the story where awesome but the bugs can become annoying
2: Morrowind = 10 (the story was awesome but the gameplay was a bit stiff)
1: Oblivion = 10 (the gameplay and the story was nice but my minor nitpick is the races are not well done)

1) Morrowind (What can I say? Face meshes were horrible. Everything else was awesome. Only combat has aged but it's still okay.)
2) Oblivion (Scaling monsters, confusing interface, speechcraft was a joke, lack of enchanting and generally fun things to do. Close call with Skyrim.)
3) Skyrim (Scaling monsters, annoying interface, lame quests, counter-intuitive, poor dialogue, dumbed down, lack of attributes and options.)
4) Daggerfall (Never actually played it but I watched a couple of hours "let's play" on Youtube. Can't really compete with this generation games.)
5) Arena (...)

UPDATE:
1)Skyrim
2)Morrowind
3)Oblivion
4)Arena
5)Daggerfall

I love all of the games. They have their advantages and disadvantages. Personally I though combat in Oblivion was fun but Skyrim and Morrowind combat was more worthwhile. Oblivion had amazing faction quests but the combat hurt it a bit for me. Dungeons in Skyrim and Morrowind were great but the other games felt shallow in terms of dungeons. Arena and Daggerfall are pretty much tied.

What amazes me is how many of you rank Arena above Daggerfall.
I don't want to turn the thread into a discussion really but please just enlighten me, because I can't think of a single thing that Arena did better. Is it the randomness?

Well, I played small parts of Morrowind, and I've put hundreds of hours into Skyrim and Oblivion.

I'd say Oblivion, then Skyrim, and then Morrowind. Oblivion by a looong way

philfredobob wrote:Since i didnt play daggerfall or arena i cant judge them :P

for main quest , it goes like this:
1- Oblivion
2- Skyrim
3- Morrowind
For side quests:
1- Oblivion
2- Morrowind
3- Skyrim
for atmosphere:
1- Oblivion
2- Skyrim
3- Morrowind
for combat mechanics :
1- Skyrim (wins by very little over oblivion)
2- Oblivion
3- Morrowind ( combat was so awful )

I believe Morrowind is one of the most overrated games of all time , while Oblivion is hugely underrated ,it feels like the runt of the litter who fought his way to the top , while Skyrim is very good and very enjoyable , but not as great as oblivion .. skyrims the little brother everybody gets along with , morrowind is the wise old brother everybody whos word everyone follows to the letter and respects , Oblivion is the middle child , and no one ever seems to like the middle child :P (bit of a contradiction with the runt of the litter part , hehe)

Steal my words, your filthy Grey Fox......lol...

Just my personal taste but I'd probably rank them...

1.) Skyrim
2.) Morrowind
3.) Oblivion
4.) Daggerfall
5.) Arena

It's not just your personal taste, look up. Although I might rank them similarly. I still like Morrowind the best. Skyrim has better graphics and gameplay, but it gets old fast. Then again, I'm ten years older now, maybe that's it.

Oh I know, I figure it's (more or less with some variation) a common ranking order and besides all of these are just personal taste ultimately so it goes without saying. :P Morrowind and Skyrim are pretty close for me.

I know, I just like messing with people. 8)

Anyway, Arena and Daggerall were not bad games. The only bad thing they had was level 32 enemies in the starter dungeon. Even at level 1 :x

1. Morrowind (Amazing.)
2. Daggerfall (It's a mess, but it's great.)
3. Oblivion (Pretty and entertaining.)
4. Arena (Old fashion. Good but gets tedious.)
5. Skyrim (I haven't played it, therefore it's the worst. Annoying, ain't it?)
I got to thinking... maybe I'm the Prince of Destruction, and I just don't know it yet.

1. Morrowind
2. Skyrim
3. Oblivion
4. Daggerfall
5. Arena

I think Morrowind is the best because of its variety: guilds, transportation, weapons, etc.

1. Skyrim
- The main quest is pretty generic, but the gameplay is the best so far in terms of combat, and the guild quests are pretty good (Esp. the Dark Brotherhood). I also like the fact that we have a quest line where we get to choose our side.
2. Morrowind
- The main quest is the best, but I can't get past the annoying combat mechanics. I also love the atmosphere of it. It's so weirdly alien and it actually feels like a different world. Oblivion just felt like I went back in time and threw magic and demons in.
3. Oblivion
- The main quest was horrible, and the guild quests were OK at best. However, I have a very special place in my heart for Oblivion because it was my first TES game.
4. Arena
- To be honest, I haven't played Arena much. The controls bother me too much.
5. Daggerfall
- I haven't played Daggerfall beyond the first dungeon. I get killed by those bat-things every time.
