black soul gems

What can you do with Balck Soul Gems after you have captured a soul? Can you enchant weapons/armor/clothing with them and if so what is the procedure? I've tried to enchant with them but they do not even show up in my list of available gems Thanks in advance. Xbox 360

To recharge, just click on them. To use them for enchanting, they're just like any other soul. If you're not getting the option to use them at the altar, it might not have a soul in it, which means the soul might have gone to another gem. Besides being able to capture NPC (humanoid) souls they're no different than Grand Soul Gems.

He didnt mention that NPC souls are always grand!
