The War of Elven Sovereignty - A War RP

[Imp]

The ship stopped firing, and all troops were sent to take the water out of the boat.

---

Captain Greshi was bravely fighting with his troops.

[POMC S117]

The Captain provided morale to his troops but they still lost many men. The Imperial marines had taken control of half of the ship. Some dismantled a ballista. Thirty imperial crew members lay dead or injured on the deck compared to twenty two ael'uvahians.

---

They managed to stop the ship from being flooded but the ship needed urgent repairs. Another volley of missiles was fired by the triremes but they thankfully missed.

[Imp]

"To the death, my brothers!" Greshi yelled, slashing with no regards for his well being. Depending on the crew's morale, they did the same.

---

The uninflitrated ship shot their weapons at seprate times again, awaiting the outcome of the ship closest to them.

[POMC S117]

As his strikes were wild, Greshi was stabbed in the side by a marine when a spot became open. His body was engulfed in pain but the wound wasn't serious. The aggressor was killed.

---

The missiles damaged a trireme slightly. It sailed to the back of the formation. The triremes fired. Four projectiles were launched. They hit the flagship at separate points. More water rushed in.

[Imp]

The captain yelled in pain, and looked so see who killed the aggressor.

---

The admiral swore, "Let it be, friends! Keep firing!"

[POMC S117]

An elf beside him, a cabin boy, young, had slain the marine.

---

The water surged through the hole, filling the bottom sections of the ship. The ship slowly began to sink. If they started to remove the water and retreat, they may be able to survive. The ballistae projectiles hit the damaged trireme and it began to go down.

[Imp]

The admiral frowned, "Shoot better!" he yelled, and pointed to half of the crew, "Take out the water, sail us back home!"

---

The captain stood up, "I owe you my life," he said quickly, "but for now, we owe our lives to the hegemony!" he tossed the cabin boy his best sword, and picked up the sword off of the legionary, and went into battle at his injured state.

[POMC S117]

The sailors saluted, relieved that they were retreating. They hastily prepared the sails as some sailors bulged the water out of the ship.

---

Spoiler:

They aren't legionaries. Just marines.

The marines were now pushed back to the cabins. They had ran inside the ship and were setting fire to it from the inside.

[Imp]

The unboarded ship being to far away to board, and the invaded ship setting on fire, the captain grabbed the cabin boy, "raise the purple and white flag, tell all soldiers to jump ship, toward the enemy ships."

[POMC S117]

The cabin boy nodded and rushed to obey his orders. The ael'uvahian sailors were soon ready.

[Imp]

As the captain saw the flag go up, Greshi was the first to jump ship.

The fleet admiral saw the purple and white flag, "Oh dear god," he said. The other crew members stared at Mesini, the admiral, once the flag went up. Once the flag hit the the top, the admiral's crew did absolutely nothing for exactly seven seconds except reverse the direction of the ballistas. On the seventh second, everyone should've been off the Captain's ship. The ballilstas fired at the Captain's ship, until it would be sunk, and then retreated.

The captain was taking off all his armor in the water, as the troops were to do the same.

[POMC S117]

Some ael'uvahian sailors were prevented from retreating by the marines. The missiles struck the flagship. The ship was made of stern stuff. It held. On the second volley, it took in water. On the third, it remained in the same state. One hte forth, the woodwork creaked. On hte fifth, it began to sink. The Imperial marines bailed out of the ship.

The Captain found himself in the water, almost a mile from the shore. The Imperial galleys swam around, firing arrows into the water.

[Imp]

The surviving crew practiced their standard marine survival procedures, stripping to their clothes, and swimming deep underwater, only coming up to take short breaths.

Spoiler:

How many of my troops are left, not including Greshi.

[POMC S117]

Spoiler:

You've lost about two thirds of your crew.

When they came up for breath, the galleys would be waiting for the. Two sailors were caught in the shoulder by an arrow. Some wood from the ships drifted by Greshi.

[Imp]

Greshi immediately grabbed the wood, and put it on the back of his head, and covered himself whenever he came. He threw wood to any survivor he could see.

Greshi looked to see how many of his own were in the water.

[POMC S117]

He could only see about fifty men in the water, slowly getting killed by galleys.

[Imp]

Greshi would not leave his troops, he looked for a way out. He desperately, knowing his death would come soon, began to climb up one of the galleys.

[POMC S117]

The imperial sailors pushed the captain away with long sticks, laughing cruelly.

"Come on, now!" yelled the imperial captain. "We're not animals. Let them up but chain them."

[Imp]

The captain tried to climb up onto the stick once hearing this, and motioned for his crew to follow.

[POMC S117]

THe imperial sailors helped their enemy on the ship. The weapons were removed from the ael'uvahians and tossed overboard. The imperial captain came to greet his prisoners.

"I am Captain Severn of the First Mithraleen Fleet. Who are you?"

[Imp]

"Captain Greshi of the Sangeth military," he said, stating the truth. "These are my survivors," he said motioning to whoever he had left.

[POMC S117]

"You understand that you are now prisoners of the Mithraleenean Empire." nodded the captain.

[Imp]

"I understand, sir" Greshi said.

[POMC S117]

"We have taken your weapons. We do not plan on killing you but if you fight us, we will slay you and toss your bodies in the sea. Do you understand?"

[Imp]

"Yes sir,"
