I just don't know anymore..

Post by AundaeBerneQuarra »

I'm so depressed, the one game that was new and exciting and held so much promise for me has now become..

BORING

I'm sorry, but I just don't know what to do, I have no characters at all at the moment (I keep starting anew) and everything seems old and stale, mods aren't a good alternative, since I only have vanilla version of morrowind, and there are VERY limited mods for vanilla only version.
I just...I don't know what to do, please help, I fear I may not love morrowind anymore.

Play another game for a while. At some point you will start missing Morrowind and you'll want to play it again.

Try a completely different kind of character. Try roleplaying a little, if you haven't already.

Or, it may just be time for you to go do other things for a while. The game will still be there when you get back.

1. as others have said, leave off Morrowind for a bit until you feel like playing again. i did, now i'm back to playing whenever i find time...

2. as others have also said here and i have said before on a different thread, buy GOTY. it doesn't cost that much, and it's on amazon if you can't find it anywhere else. and then you can not only play the expansions, but lots of mods too...
believe me, it's worth it!

3. make mods yourself!

... didn't you make this thread already?

Anyway, try going through the entire game without killing anyone... and then at the end take a nice look at the army you've created dedicated to the sole purpose of killing you.

Make a character capable of surviving entirely on their own then play them in that way. Obviously you'll need to head into Balmora with Caius' money at the start of the game to buy some basic supplies, but as long as you've got Armourer, Alchemy and Restoration in your majors you can pretty much survive out in the wilderness without having to ever set foot in a town. Then, well, just go off exploring and enjoy the sights of Vvardenfell's backcountry.
