Shady Sam is part of a mod, isn't he?

Thought so. I was very sure it was as he isn't in the base game.

Before Skyrim came out, I always kind of hoped Bethesda would have Shady Sam as an inhabitant of Skyrim. I expected for him to be a kind of timeless character that appears in all games, much like M'aiq the Liar. I guess not...DikaSmausha wrote:Thought so. murdered some thalmor justiciars who had the nerve to talk down their noses at a nord with clearly better combat skills, but srsly I don't get it. Why do thalmor and bandits just attack when I'm wearing ebony or dragonscale/bone armor, it's frustrating really

Why attack the only person that can save the world, anyway?

I was planning on starting a new character and saving over my Khajiit werewolf's file. As a final remeberance of all I've done with him, I decided to make him go out with a bang...By fighting a camp full of Stormcloaks and a dragon at the same time. He died, but he died epicly

I had Skyrim freeze on a loading screen. I hate it when it does that!
Re: The 'What You Did in Skyrim Today' Thread
Today, I killed some vampires and finished off the main Dawnguard quest line. My character reached level 43 so I retired her. Then I watched the opening cut scene, so I poised ready for a new character.

After Thonar Silver-Blood awarded me with his family ring after taking care of Madanach, my character promptly cut his throat and dumped him down a waterfall for his role in all of the Forsworn [&@%!]. This was awesome.

You know I wish I killed madnach when I had the chance to end him once and for all. I didn't kill him during the escape and now he respawns.

My elf and her husband meditated with the Greybeards. It was rather blasphemous, I thought.

Ended the Stormcloak rebellion, convinced a madman Madgod to wrap up his vacation.

I caught a cart from Riften to Winterhold, where I conned my way into the college and proceeded to steal everything that wasn't nailed down. I dumped all my loot in the wardrobe in my room and then set out on foot to Windhelm.

I finished the Thieves' Guild questline for the first time!
...Which is actually really surprising. I haven't finished any of the other questlines, and I would not have expected that to be the first one I finished. It only was because I made a character solely to pursue that questline, and then I wandered away from my other character for a while.

Hmph. I've been thinking of getting that mod, but I was worried about glitches and the like. How is it? Is it worth going unarmed? The Prophet wrote:Downloaded the 'Way of the Monk' mod. Punched my way through 3 hours of skyrim.

Patrolling the forests around Morthal (I'm a bosmer ranger), investigated a vampire threat and killed the leader of the coven. Gonna hang around the outskirts of Morthal for another day then make my way to Riften.

Re: The 'What You Did in Skyrim Today' Thread
Completed several Daedric quests, got ambushed by more than 10 Dragons in Dawnstar (not all at once, mind you. In groups of 3 at the most), got married to Athis, constructed a home in Falkreath and The Pale, and adopted two children. After all that, I obsessively furnished and decorated the Falkreath home and moved my new family into there. Wound up having to defend it from a Giant. Also did some baking to pass the time.
Re: The 'What You Did in Skyrim Today' Thread
I cleared Gallows Rock with Aela and then I went looking for interesting locations for the Skyversary.
Those damn elves are after me, for some reason known only to themselves the Thalmor (wretched goblin fondlers) have ordered my characters execution. So I've taken to hunting down elves in self defense.
