Nonsense. Electronic music is not pop music. The genre has way more to offer than dubstep and house...

I don't see how anyone could even compare Hip Hop to Pop. Granted Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicci Minaj are Hip-Pop but people like Immortal Technique, Masta ace etc. are Hip Hop

Putting 'alternative' as an option is kind of a bad choice anyways, since almost every genre also has an alternative aspect.

Mars may be right it will get very complex otherwise. I mean what about punk, reggae, ska? Why dubstep? Where would industrial go? or world music - India, China and Africa all have their own distinctive traditional music far more people listen to anyone of those than the combined British and Irish populations. Should there be an option for David Hasslehoff he is a icon and genre to the Germans or Men at Work for the Australians?

Since i am the only one at my school who hates dubstep with the white hot passion of a thousand suns......

I have two types of music:1.) Art music when i am creating and meditating or trying to chill.
2.)Music i listen to when i am just wanting to listen to music.
1.) Orchestral, video game music, cinematic music and various others (right now its Dvorak romance in piano and violin, Lakota Peyote, Last of the Mohicans: The Gael and Tryouts: Rudy.)

2.) Varies from hip hop to metal.

All music. All of it. Seriously.

I said that in chat once and got put to the test. Links to some of the most distorted, crazy music were sent my way. Funny thing was I could appreciate every single song for one thing or another.

Now if you asked me what I liked to mainly listen to I would say anything has a fun beat or interesting melodic line or harmonies.
