The Coming Dark

[Leilah]

"A dragon," Juliet said, flatly. "Yeah. Let's go." Juliet looked around for Nate. "But we can't go without Nate."

[Justice knight]

Okay he's not here so I'm going to nudge it along a little.

Nate was clearly seen near the helicopter wreckage- completely out cold.
"You're about half a mile from the Whitehouse," Eva said.

[Velvet LeChance]

Vic just laughed at Brads comment. "Dragons," He mocked. "Kid must've taken a bang to the head." With the RPD drum clean he turned to Juliet. "I could probably carry him." He suggested, looking at Nate. "He's small enough."

[Musicman247]

"Look, I've played enough Skyrim to know what a dragon is, and what I saw was a dragon!" Brad said firmly.

[Velvet LeChance]

Vic laughed even harder. He could briefly remember playing Skyrim in his youth before switching back to Call Of Duty. "And you didn't happen to see any Elves on the way down, or pixie's perhaps?"

[Leilah]

"I'm not saying you didn't see a dragon, kid," Juliet said. "But we need to get away from here now, OK?" She turned to Vic. "OK, carry him. I'll get his things." She searched for Nate's belongings, picked them up as well.

"Stop calling me 'kid'," Brad said without much conviction. He fell in line behind Juliet and Vic.

[Velvet LeChance]

Vic grabbed Nate by the legs before swinging him over his back, shoutgun in one hand he turned to the rest of the group. "Were not too far away form the white house, we should keep moving."

[Justice knight]

If the team listened carefully they could hear heavy rasping breaths coming from the west, or they could just carry on northwards towards the Whitehouse pretending not to here anything.

[Leilah]

Juliet heard the breaths. She nodded at Vic. "Let's go on to the White House. I'm not ivestigating those while we're carrying a half-dead guy." She looked at Brad. "But this certainly makes your story more plausible, kid."

[Musicman247]

"Dammit! My name's Brad!" he yelled before picking up his pace to keep up with the other two.

[Velvet LeChance]

"His stories a crock of [&@%!] if you ask me" Vic replied, before continuing on in the direction of the White house, muttering to himself. "Dragons, Kids not well."

[Justice knight]

A roar echoed again through the city- this one seemed louder and some what closer.

[Musicman247]

Kid Brad raised his rifle, looking for whatever could have made the sound. "Do you f*cking believe me now!?"

[Leilah]

Juliet shook her head. "Never called you crazy, kid," she said. "Now let's get ourselves to the White House. Seriously." She sped up her pace as much as she could.

[Velvet LeChance]

"Oh no Dragons." Vic mocked, laughing to himself, despite the seriousness of the situation.

[Justice knight]

As if by magic a huge crimson dragon plated with golden armour smashed into a nearby office building and roared at the team.

[Musicman247]

Even sprinting left Brad behind the other two. Damn tall people, he thought.

"SH*TSH*TSH*TSH*TSH*TSH*TSH*TSH*T!" screamed Brad as the dragon landed.

[Leilah]

"Seriously? There are f*cking dragons in DC now? What the f*ck is going on?" Juliet sounded pretty angry. "I don't think we can fight that thing." She realised she was stating the obvious. She picked up her pace even more, moving away from the dragon a bit. "Run, kid!" she shouted at Brad.

[Velvet LeChance]

"Holy f*ucking sh*t!" Vic shouted almost dropping Nate's unconcious body to the ground in surprise. switching to his RPD he began to shoot at the dragon (20 bullets) before running for the Whitehouse. "I believe you kid, I f*cking believe you!"

[Leilah]

"Are you f*cking nuts?" Juliet shouted at Vic, running now. "You can't do sh*t to that thing, you'll just p*ss it off!"

[Musicman247]

Brad didn't even try and correct them this time, all his energy being used to keep up with them.

[Justice knight]

Staying on the streets would be suicide- there was only two ways to go, down into the subway or into one of the buildings.

The bullets did exactly that -[&@%!] off the dragon- it leaned backwards, the team would have to make their choice soon or be incinerated.

Vic was sprinting as fast as he could with Nate's body towards the subway. "Thatwasaf*ckingdragon." He shouted back incoherently. "F*cking kid was right,"

Juliet followed Vic to the subway. "No sh*t, idiot. I don't want you trying to get us killed again. Think before you shoot!"
