Stuck In A Room

"I love you," Lily said, closed her eyes, and kissed Aaron again, ready to join the others.

Lily broke apart into a cloud of a thousand sparkling diamonds surrounding Aaron.

"Thank you all," he said as the lights fell onto him.

Aaron took one last look around the room, a serious look in his eyes.

With a snap of his fingers the room exploded out from him, pieces of it flying in every direction into the void.

He was free.

Thank you all for playing! This was my first time at really DMing something and you guys made it a blast!

If anybody has any questions about what happened feel free to post them here and I'll try and answer. Don't worry about spoilers for SIAR II because it will be a completely different animal.

How did you PLAN this? I mean, did you make scenarios after the characters, or did you fit or characters into the situations?
What happened in Alex's and Ben's routes?
And why was I the gatekeeper or whatever?

I really enjoyed this. It was really fun, and what you did with the plot was interesting.

SIAR II!

My original intent was for the exit of the room to be the final part of the RP, then I had some people comment that they hoped they would be able to meet Aaron, so I added the individual quest part and made the situations fit the characters as best I could.

Alex and Ben completely ignored the ways they were supposed to help Aaron. In Ben's Aaron was three years old and got left at the grocery store. Ben was supposed to find him, calm him down and re-unite him with his parents somehow. In Alex's Aaron and his mom and dad went to the steak house when he was ten. His parents told him that they were getting a divorce and would then proceed to have a fight. Alex was supposed to be at the table cooking steaks and somehow get Aaron to calm down. Because they failed they have remained as separate personalities that may rear their heads up again later in his life. Since they are only two, however, they won't have that much impact on Aaron.

You and Believe were the Gatekeeper and Keymaster because your characters were the hardest to convince. Plus I thought it would be a funny reference to Ghostbusters
