"There is something I do not understand." Arathir said. "Loghain has labeled us for death, but why would he do so if we were all so obviously dead? Unless... there are others that survived."

"Dead Wardens kill no archdemons," Landon spoke telling this was only going to get funnier, "How do you plan to find it, fight it, all the darkspawn, and every noble in Fereldan?", turning back to Arathir, "There are more, two, they should be a great help. Maybe you can talk the darkspawn to death, but if you can't I suggest we leave quickly. Gather your friends, before you lose the chance."

Sertin poked Arathir and repeated her motions.

"She can't speak," Landon explained, "rather painful to go into for her, so for the love of the Maker feed her and put her to bed, or we'll get nothing done."

Arathir smiled for the first time in weeks. "So there are others!" he said joyously. "Then we must waste no time."

He looked to the mute elf. "You look familiar..." he said, before pointing to their cave. "There are provisions in there. Get yourself something to eat. There's a bit left."

"What are your names?" asked Airmed. "I've already shared mine."

Sertin shook her head and pointed at the Wardens. She waved for Landon.

"Oh, sorry" Landon said with a smile, knowing he annoying them, "It's Landon, that elf there is Nareneil, and the mute elf is Sertin."

"Alright." Arathir said with a nod. "We're going to head to Denerim through Lothering. I hope it hasn't been hit by the darkspawn as of yet. That would be a pity..." he said, stroking his beard and wishing it were gone.

Sertin rolled her eyes and shown Airmed a piece of paper, having written on it Sertin Nightgust. She held out a hand to shake.

Arathir peered over to the paper. "Nightgust...?" he said, immediately thinking of Kerin. "Oh... I don't suppose you know a Kerin Nightgust, do you?"

"Let's keep the whole, "We're here to defeat the Blight" thing hush, shall we," Landon said as he exhaled. It could only get worse he thought. He had run out of witty things to say. And just then he had another, "A note of love I suppose, no wonder she was so anxious to get out here." He moved closer to see what they were talking about.

Airmed shook her hand. She gulped. "If you did then, I'm sorry. He was killed in the battle." said Airmed.

Sertin nodded, her face brightened up. Her happiness was short-lived, she held her hand to her mouth, open, showing the stump of a tongue. She shook her head if to say "please no."

Colette sat in the room of the Inn she had bought. A man, one of King Cailan's guards who was a scout at Ostagar, sat on the bed. No, he was sprawled out on the bed, dead. Colette wanted him to give her an answer: Who was responsible for the death of Charles Fontaine, Grey Warden? But he didn't know; none of them knew or if they did they weren't telling her.

Colette glanced at the half-naked body with a single stab wound near the heart and sighed. When will men learn not to trust every woman they meet? It had been so easy to lure the man up, lust shining plainly in his beady eyes. He undressed and sat down on the bed, when Colette struck. As soon as he discarded his sword she was on him, a blade no longer or wider than a pen at his throat. Did you know Charles Fontaine? No. Was he with the Grey Wardens when they were slaughtered? Probably. Did the Grey Wardens kill the king? Yes.

And that was when Colette attacked, for she knew it could not be true. Her father may have been a thief, but he was no murderer.

But she'll find the truth eventually. And when she does, heads will roll.
